Happy Now, I'll be right over. Can we watch the NCAA tournament while we get snockered on champagne? My team (Fighting Illini) is playing in about an hour. I'll stop at Pocono's on the way and pick up some brownies.

I went to the mall and managed to find a few things. I have kind of a lopsided swelly belly (it's more swollen and a little saggy on the left side where the cyst was) so I decided to buy a pair of Spanx underwear. They do help a little...as Bridget Jones might say: They help keep in my wobbly bits.

You ladies with kids at home have certainly been tested these past 5 weeks with all the illnesses. I guess that's one of the disadvantages of having surgery at this time of the year. Anyway, more power to you. I had my hands full just keeping the cats fed and the litter box clean.

Gotta go. It's almost time for the game. Go Illini!!!

It is 7 pm here, I think it's time to crawl back to bed. Both my kids are staying in tonight(glad, because the weather is still yucky). Then tomorrow they both have to work one @ 8am, the other not til 11:30 am.Then it's just me and my DH. We are even going to a St. Patrick's party tomorrow night. If I can't sleep, I'll check posts later. Have a good night everyone.

Glad to hear about the dress - DVF - I too remember the originals and I knew one girl in High School who got a real one! - Fabulous! I have one tucked away from Pierre Cardin (Does anyone remember him) on the subject of NM - when they put shoes on sale - THEY ARE ON SALE - I have a couple of pairs from them, not too trendy because I wear them for years from there. Haven't gotten excited about spring shoes yet - too cold and snowy here.
Everyone have a good evening - more tomorrow and yes - I too think of you as all my friends

First thing: My doctor had increased my premarin by .3 mg which bumps me up to .925. I did not feel great today---I felt crabby and found myself getting irritated with Catherine. I'm not happy with the change. I would rather deal with getting too warm at night. Also, I have not had a dizzy spell yet but about mid morning I turned and suddenly a dizzy moment happened. Also, tonight I drank a glass of wine for the first time--my nose flushed red--what is that about? Please tell me what you think. My husband said my body is just adjusting and I should wait and see. I refrained from any sarcastic remarks

I said first thing and now I'm too tired to tell you the second thing. I'm going to take a hot bath and I'll get back to you.

FF1962 - I actually think I had an original DVF back when they came out. Has anybody heard of Zappos? They are a website where you can buy many well known brand shoes at discounted prices and they have a great return policy. Talk to everyone later.

So many things to say! I am soooooo sorry for the sick kids!! That must be awful on so many levels... how in the world you got through it intact? Bless you both!
DH longs to have a small farm, and I'm in! Do you have horses as well? Can all of us come visit if we promise to bring champagne, brownies and other assorted goodies???
Zappos is my favorite place to get shoes. Whenever dd sees the zappos box she gets so excited!! "OOOOOOOO shoes for me momma???" gotta love it!
DH did very well... he came home bearing gifts. He went by and picked up the dress, which I LOVE!! I was afraid it wouldn't fit because they only had it in one size, the size below what I thought I was- but it fit PERFECTLY!!!! I have never felt so good in a dress besides my wedding dress!!! It was an instant pick me up. He also came home with a pair of shoes, the perfect pair of peep toe black pumps, only they have about a 3" heel. I'm 5'9 and dh is 6'0... we are almost exactly the same height in these shoes!! DD tried to put them on and almost broke her entire body, but she's fine now!! haha
And last but not least- Spanx are my dearest friend. It is the absolute best single thing for any woman to have in her wardrobe. Have you seen the shirt and pants they came out with? they even make Mama spanx for preggo women!! haha, the time it's not only OK but beautiful and they invent spanx for it!
If any of you don't know about Spanx.... go buy some!!! They are the best!
I poured myself a glass of wine tonight, too. Must say I enjoyed it and am looking forward to many more glasses at the party tomorrow!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!

Kappel - I had a dizzy spell on Tuesday and called the doctor. I passed out while they took my blood. My doctor called and said my blood count and iron looked good. Then my husband felt dizzy. We all had the stomach flu. First time in my life I was happy to be sick. I hope you figure out whats making you dizzy soon. It is terrifying.

I have felt sick to my stomach as well. Maybe I'm coming down with something. I was thinking it was the extra estrogen. My head is aching and I feel foggy. Kentucky plays tonight so I don't want to go to sleep yet, but I feel like I could sleep forever.

Yup, sounds like the bug. Drink lots of water and eat bland. I'm so sorry
