Alabama you have me laughing out loud! I used to get like that when I was pms-y.... NO one wanted to get in my way. And I"m a petite fairly soft spoken but outgoing person.... it was a shock to their systems (and mine when all was said and done) that most of that behavior even came OUT of me. And I have to say that in times of emotional stress (like we're dealing with now) it gotten even WORSE! LOL I'm hoping the new meds put a bit of a leash on you, but I have to say I LOVE a woman who speaks her mind and recognizes stupidity when she sees it (however skewed her vision may be!). Hope the week ends on a better note for you!

and yes catnapper, you got it.. I"m mad about singing! You're quick one... which furniture store do you work in? Cause I could use that kind of bargain on a dining room set! LOL

Morning! I hit my 6 week mark today and am definitely feeling better when I think back to those days in the castle! I celebrated this morning by rolling around on the floor with my youngest cat. He LOVES rough play and just purrs and purrs. I'm cleared for the playground and from what I can tell, all is in working order, but not in the mood to rush anything! So I"m listening to myself. I'm giving swimming and all another couple weeks, but have DEFINITELY found singing again to be fun, and great exercise for those tummy muscles. For a while singing was causing me backaches. I think that's cause my stomach COULDN;T handle it, so the back kicked in. Not good for the back, not good for proper singing... BUT in the past three days I've felt my stomach getting the workout... means its kicked in and working.

Course I"m still dealing with nursing my backside back from that fall last weekend. My DP came home last night, saw the bruising and swelling and wanted to take me to the ER for x-rays to make sure I hadn't cracked or broken any hip or coccyx bones. I think if my legs and hips work with no pain, and I can twist around with no pain then nothing's actually broken, just really banged up... but my DP admits, if I was a thong swimsuit model, I'd be out on disability right now!

Alabamateacher,

I cracked up when reading your playground post! I had my six week check up at 5.5 weeks as I had to go back to work at week six cause I was out of leave time....I worked part time one week, full time this week. Yuck I was to go home and sleep. I am on my fourth day of full time work meaning I am up at 5:20 am, I liked sleeping til 9:00. But here goes, when I saw my doctor on the 8th he said that not all of my internal stitches were healed yet, and with a giant q-tip he took out about three. He then said that I couldn't visit the playground for two weeks...DH could not have been nicer, but I know that he has been counting the hours! So after two weeks back at work I am soooo tired and today is two weeks. He is planning on dinner and playing--OMG I wonder if I can stay awake!!!

Advil will be taken.

Bama-you're killing me!
These are all the things I'm thinking, but couldn't quite put my finger on it!

Dh and I went out to dinner last night to celebrate. . I actually had 2 beers! Never drink but it sounded so good. Felt a little light headed after the first 1/2 so took it easy on the rest. (Lightweight) Promised ds that we'd take him to Taco Bell tonight as that is his favorite fast food place. He's in the orchestra pit for the school musical plus Judo and keeping his grades up so he has earned it.

Sorry to hear that some have had setbacks. Keep your eye on the prize (good health) guys. You're going to make it and we're here to cheer you on. Here's hoping you're feeling a little better today.

Good Morning everyone! I just want to say thanks for listening to me whine yesterday. It is so sweet of y'all to support me even when I'm in a mood! I am going to start woking out again today. My rear has gotten just a 'little' big after sitting on it for too long! I know I have to start out slow, but I'm hoping to get back into shape before my family reunion this summer. Wish me luck!

I hope everyone has a pain-free day! Thanks again for all your support! Elizabeth

I'm baaaaaaaack!!! hey everyone!! I had pages and pages of posts to read and can't remember who said what, so i'm just going to say I'm so sorry for all of us who are having troubles and pain still, and happy for those who are feeling better and happiest for us who are back playing in the playground!! WAHOO.

The party went well last weekend. Little brother was surprised. I managed to get myself all dressed up (LOVED the dress!!!) and made it through the hotel bar, all the way to the back where they had a small section out of view and couches... where I promptly laid down. not an easy feat in a tight wrap dress and dangerously high heels i might add!!! haha. Dinner was amazing and even though I wound up having to leave during the main course, it was a lot of fun. DH and I had a great time.
I cancelled my 6 week checkup! I know it was stupid, but honestly- I just didn't want to go! I have been having major bowel issues. TMI alert: Constipation is horrendous and BMs have been very few and far between. I even ate prunes!! When the urge to go finally comes around, I have no warning or waiting period, so I jsut didn't feel comfortable going to the Dr for a checkup! What if i had to go during the exam! shock and horror!! So I chickened out and rescheduled. oops.
Things are going well here otherwise. I'm almost back into the swing of thigns but not quite back to normal. In a bit of pain right now because I took DD to school and then took youngest ds out for errands. Completely overdid it! haha. what started out as a quick trip to DHs office to pick up a fax turned into my ADD brains every whim. Office is near a nursery, so I went there to look and buy some flowers to plant in some containers, then backto office to fax what I had picked up not 20 minutes earlier! then I was thirsty so off to sonic for a delicious coke with the best ice ever. Beautiful day, so we went to the park, then swung by office again because I forgot to lock up- haha! half way home and had to go BACK to office to leave the key for DH. Gas station run and then home- and now my back hurts, the whole vajajay region is feeling a little tender. my pubic bone feels like someone took a hammer to it- ouch.
So i'm back to the couch and the remote for a little while.

Let me know hat yall decide on the whole message board thing. i'm in!

Hugs to all of you!!!
