Bookah - you can look at it as being overpoliced, but I guess to put a positive spin on it, if you only post where those of us who've had a hystero in early February are apt to look, you could miss out on some great thoughts, experiences, etc. and might not even FIND someone who's having the same experience. I think that was the intent. My guess is groups like our tend to hit the six week mark and have developed a sisterhood... and we have to be policed a bit to keep the threads in order... or it will turn the whole thing into a very difficult place to find specific help...or am I being too understanding?? I just got back from my weekend of singing which was wonderful but I"M tired and sore and just need to take a bit of a break. I'll be back!

Marysville is close to us. When you decide to visit your brother just let me know, I would love to meet you for a cup of joe, lunch, etc. I'm sure alot of the others would join in. Most people from around here move to Marysville to work for Honda or an affiliate. My step brother works there.

singingmad - if you look at my response to Kathy you will see we are on the same page. No big deal. I participate in and create threads outside of our circle. I just want to drop the whole thingl. I'm glad you got to sing this weekend. Our forecast today was 67 and rainy but it turned out to be 78 and sunny so I spent the afternoon outside

Babs - I go back to work tomorrow and totally know where you are coming from! Feeling better makes me do more, doing more makes the time fly by. Good luck to you on your first day back!

rodswife- you and I are the same size... and I'm not back in my 4's yet, either. depressing.
I have 2 suggestions to all you who are still dealing with swelly belly... one is, and I know this may sound a little nuts... but buy a pair of maternity pants. they make some specifically for the 1st and 2nd trimester where it's not larger overall, just gives more in the belly area. old Navy and gap have reasonably priced, cute pants. And the yoga pants they make are great for days when the belly is a bit bigger. the elastic won't be too tight, but everything else will fit. Weird suggestion, but may work!
Also- when all this is over go buy a really great pair of jeans!! splurge and spend the money on a fabulous designer jean and I promise you, you won't regret it! Nordstroms carrys a brand called not my daughters jeans- they have the cut and material as the lowrider, but without the low rises, which cause muffin top (unless you have zero body fat) and a not so attractive view of panties. I personally like the lower rise, but I have friends who swear by this brand.
Anyway- just a few thoughts!!
hope all is well with everyone!!!!

Thanks for directing me to this site. I understand why we need to be chatting elsewhere.
I'm not sure if it's the weather (allergies & such) but I'm feeling achy today. Sometimes I want to throw everything into the same 'pot' - i.e. recovery - when maybe other things could be going on physically. I didn't expect my recovery to take so long. My brain wants to do things my body can't do yet. It's frustrating. Guess it takes a lot of patience - and grace!
Hope everyone is healing well and good luck to those returning to work. I hope I can in a couple of weeks.

Hi, all. I had a great visit with my brother and his family. Babcocks, my brother moved there to work for Honda. Wouldn't it be funny if he and your brother knew each other? I'm not sure when I'll make it out there but will be sure to let you know. I've heard there are some great places to shop in Columbus.

myFatherschild, I know what you mean about the brain wanting to do things the body isn't ready for yet. That's probably pretty common at this stage of our recovery. I feel like I've turned the corner on my recovery the past couple of days though. The pain has turned into more of an ache. I'm pretty tired after work but a quick nap takes care of that.

Hugs to everyone and good luck to those going back to work or post-ops this week.

Having some problems with thrush at the moment as I had to have antibiotics for an infection. I still feel very itchy. I'm also not sure whether I'm finally shedding some internal stitches as I feel very uncomfortable in the vayaja region. I wanted to start swimming today but I think that I will have to wait a few days for the thrush to clear up. I have an appointment with the physio next week so I am hoping that I will be able to do pilates again. That wont start just yet as I will have to join a new course after Easter. I go back to work next week so I am expecting my energy levels to dip a bit. I hope everyone is healing well. Jane.

Good morning everyone. I go for my 6 week post op today so will let everyone know later what the dr says. Talk to you later.

Bagpus - Sorry about the thrush. My dh has it also from taking antibiotics. Are you doing the mouthwash 5 times a day? He also had to take one pill.

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone has a great day today!

Babcocks - Did you ever find the thread on the tummy tuck? I don't see it there anymore. If you didn't maybe you can ask one of the hostess' how to get to it.

I have my post op today so will talk to everyone later.

Poconowoman, good luck today with your visit. I hope it goes well. My Dh left for work, my son left for school, my Dd goes back to school today after being off for a week. I am on my own today , which will be good, because I plan to do nothing. I over did it yesterday, laundry, dinner, vacuuming, quick trip to the store ,cleaned the bathrooms, and even cleaned the guinea pigs cage, oh yeah dusted the furniture too. I didn't sleep again last night.I finished my antibiotics yesterday.and I wonder why I am not well yet. Hope everyone has a great day !!!
