Hi Rodswife - I was just wondering how you are doing and how are things going with your step son and his girlfriend. I know this is such a tough decision to make but I have faith that you will be able to make the right decision for everyone.
Take care.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to tell y'all I am still having stomach issues. I still don't know if its the hormones or if I'm sick. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!

Speaking of tomorrow, the day of reckoning is upon us! Dh and I are going to find out about the baby and what is happening there. Wish us luck! I am a nervous wreck about it!

I hope y'all are feeling better! Elizabeth

I am feeling pretty good, feel like my HRT (Premarin) maybe kicked in, have been on it for two weeks. I was on HRT before the surgery but it was a combined one and obviously had more than a week without anything, before resuming the Premarin which is oestrogen only. Good tip about reading Hormone Jungle though, will take a look.

I still feel rather woolly-headed around general things, fine to drive but am being extra careful, taking it easy and only doing short hops in the car (all I ever do anyway which suits me fine). Hadn't thought of it in terms of the anaesthesia though, but at almost six weeks out?

You ladies are something else, with all your gym stuff and fitting into skinny jeans. I feel pretty fluffy, as you say - do I ever love that word! - and am still in the tracky bottoms as they are comfortable on the incision. But am having longer and longer periods of time when I almost forget that I had the operation!

Just saw a copy of the evening newspaper in a newsagent saying something about our Prince Charles flying off somewhere on holiday with his wife the Duchess of Cornwall - whose hyster was a couple of weeks after me - to Scotland I think, so not that far (have to wait till DH comes home with the paper) - obviously flying for her is allowed then - it is a private plane though and unfortunately I am not going anywhere at the moment though wouldn't fancy flying right now anyway!

Louise
Hi Louise! I too am feeling fluffy, am able to get into some of my slacks for work though. I have been going in shorter hours to start and then have to nap when I get home!! Very tiring!
How do you all feel overthere about the Duchess of Cornwall? And how about that Heather Mills? I realize I'm getting into celebrity gossip here, but just wanted your opinion. Me personally - I just adored Princess Diana and was absolutely crushed when she passed away.

Angiedawn, so sorry you are having so much trouble. Call your dr. I also kept my ovaries but my doc said if after a month I did not feel like they were working and were having hormonal issues he would do the blood work to check my hormones because sometimes they stop working. I am still having a lot of pain too so I just think some of heal slower than others and it is according to what they found. I just found out as the dr said I had an abundance of adhesions and it took them a long time to remove them before they even saw my organs so I am thinking that is why I am still having pain. Hope you feel better soon.

Hello Ladies,

I so enjoy reading all the posts, and keeping up with everyone. I am doing great, just a little swelly belly after working 12 hours. Some days it seems as if it has been so long that we all had our surgery.

Keep safe and well,
Debbie
