Hello ladies.

Bagpuss, it sounds horrible. Hope you get sorted at the doctor today.

Who asked about Camilla - well, it seems that she went to Scotland with her own private nurse, for Easter I suppose, and Prince Charles went separately. Hmm.

Woo! I did some ironing last night! Got dh and the kids to put up and take down the ironing board and lift the iron on to it (have a steam generator one which is much faster but the base is heavy and am not carrying that or the board for a while yet) Vacuuming and mopping the floor will come next then home dry!

Still so pleased that I am on this side....

Good morning friends, I am still not sleeping, I still cry all the time, hot flashes, the list goes on. I guess all 6 progesterone injections and now my nightly hormone pill haven't kicked in yet.My dr did say my ovaries aren't not working at all.I did some research about my pituitary microadenoma, I was surprised at all the symtoms I have.I wonder if it is why I am not well yet. I have to schedule my brain MRI today.I will keep you updated. I hope you all are doing well and have a great day.

Good morning girls. Okay, for anyone having sleep difficulty...talk to your dr. about lunesta. It worked wonders for me. So well in fact that I cleaned the house top to bottom. I washed the curtains, I vacuumed the heat registers, I cleaned and sanitized the kitchen and bathrooms, did three loads of laundry, and took the kids for a long walk on Saturday. Sunday, I wrote a new household budget, cleaned the dishes, went to church, went to the mall, did some more laundry, took out the recycling and the trash. And now......................................I hurt like hell!!! Don't over do it ladies. I felt like I could run a marathon and I really threw myself back. Now I'm at work and I feel horrible and can hardly concentrate. Just wanted to warn everyone that we are NOT 100% yet. Even though it may feel that way. Take care girls.

Hey y'all! I just want to give y'all an update on the whole "grandbaby" thing. They kids are open to adoption, but if they don't feel like it's right, they still want us to adopt it. We laid down the rules to them and right now they don't have any problem with them. It could all change at any moment, so I'm not holding my breath.

Dh and I still do not want to do this, but if it would keep this baby from growing up with either one of those women, it would be worth it. My step-son said he would rather me raise it and not his mom because he knows that his child would be loved and more than taken care of. That really hit home for me! I still don't know what will happen, but I feel like we are on the right path!

Thanks to all of you for your support! I felt like y'all were there with me whispering questions and suggestions in my ear! Thanks again~Elizabeth

I know why I'm sick!!

I went to my GP today and found out that I have strep. I thought it was my hormones and so did my dr, but the strep test came back positive. I am so glad it is that! It's a lot easier to treat!

Y''all have a great day!! Elizabeth

I think our resistances are down since the surgery. I had that thrush infection shortly after getting home, then the next week had the stomach bug, then fell on the ice, and LAST tuesday came down with an awful headcold that is still lingering. Guess we ALL need to get lots of rest for more than one reason!

I go for an 8 week check-up tomorrow. I've been working for 10 days and doing everything I did before the surgery except for exercising. Still have a little tenderness around my incision and hot flashes - 10 to 15 a day. I am taking Estrovan, an over-the-counter supplement which helped when I first started going thru menopause about a year and a half ago. Good to hear how everyone is doing...
