Singingmad - I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers, it looks like you are getting closer to an answer. I just hope she starts feeling better soon.

Summersday - that is great about the landlord. Looks like it is a move in the "right direction" I don't want you to have bad weather either, that means I'll have bad weather.

Take care ladies!

Glad things seem to be working out well for everyone. Unfortunately, I just found out my daughter needs to have an orange size cyst removed. Hopefully, they can save the ovary. They will call this week to schedure sometime in between her prom and graduation. I'm trying to stay calm about it. Thanks for listening.

Ouch! That's not good news onthecouch! But at least they've found it. Hopefully they'll be able to extricate the cyst without a problem but one ovary is better than NO ovaries at her age. Hopefully you can BOTH stay calm about the whole thing. Sounds like it will be a busy spring for her.

On the couch - I am so sorry! My best friend in high school lost an ovary due to a large cyst and has gone on to have three healthy kids. I hope and pray they can save hers but if not there is hope for a bright future. Just keep her healthy and baby her.

Caroline - I am so sorry to hear about your daughter and her cyst. I know this has to be so upsetting and stressful for the both of you. Hopefully, she will be able to keep the ovary but know that women do have children with just one ovary. (I know that probably does not matter right now but it might make you feel better later on) If there is anything I can do please let me know and I really mean it. I am only about 45 minutes from you. I will say a prayer for you and your daughter that everything goes well. Again I am so sorry.

Good afternoon everyone! I went to the neurologist this morning and will be going for the shots in my lower back, the dr said if they don't work then we will also do my neck since I have the 3 herniated discs there but he does not think that is what is causing my leg pain. They think it is coming from my lower back but the MRI does not show much damage there. I will be so disappointed if the shots don't work. This is the 2nd part of me getting back to being healthy and living life the way I used to - the hys was the first part. My kids are hoping too so that I can go for walks and bike ride with them again.

I was really upset yesterday a car came around a corner really fast and my kids had to scramble out of the way. They said they were riding on the side of the road and still had to scramble. They were not more than 2 minutes from the house. Thank g-d they were wearing their bike helmets bec my older one ended up falling and tumbling over the handlebars. They said I must have known something was wrong bec they were about to call me when I called them and they told me to come get them. They are both fine but my older one got scraped up really bad - all over his arms, legs, and chest. I get so angry at some of the drivers around here.

Singingmad - So glad your dp is doing a little better and so far no surgery.

June - Sounds like things will be great at the new house. Congratulations.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Everyone enjoy the rest of their day.

OMG Pocono, that's horrible about your children. Did the vehicle even stop to make sure they were okay???? I HATE when cars and trucks do that. They whiz by without a care! I don't have a sidewalk in front of my house and my mother (at 83 years old) frequently walks about a mile to the senior center. I always worry that someone won't give her enough space and I'll drive home to find her lying along the street somewhere! I can't tell her NOT to walk, but I DO tell her to keep on the grass and be VERY careful when she hears a car coming. Glad they are okay!

thank you book. singing and poco for your thoughts. I also told dd, when the dr. was with us, that I got pregnant 4 times with 1 ovary. I know everything will work out well, but having all of you is so comforting.
nanette, i am really sorry about your back pain. i know you spoke of it before, but do you know what caused it. I have been afraid of not being able to exercise because I had chronic back pain for 5 yrs due to degenerative disc disease, they feel was related to all the pregnancies. I had the cortizone shots and all, but the evercise was what finally kept me pain free. So I will start up again tomorrow .
Singingmad, I know how infuriating and scarey the speeders are. I hope your mom listens to your advice.
Also, Nanette , I am sorry about what your boys went through. It is inexcusable, the way some drive. I deal with it everyday, because my street is a cut through, so the police dept knows me well.

Singingmad I hope your dp is feeling better. My dd has been battling stomach problems and is off to see the specialist next week.

Onthecouch, I'm glad they found the source of your dd problem. I'll be praying for her and her docs.

Pocono, get out your video cam! We had to petition the town to get the dump trucks from the quarry to slow down when passing by because of our children. It is a constant concern. I'm glad they are ok.

I have osteo arthritis in my back and every place I ever broke a bone. I had physical therapy for 6 weeks and feel great until I don't do my exercises. As soon as I get back on my routine, I'm good again.

Bookah, take care.

Sorry I missed a few.

onthecouch, Have you started the Miss America slumber party yet? That used to be my daughter's and her friends' favorite. I'm not sure they ever saw much of the show however. The boys used to vacate and stay with my mom that night. (Until they got older. Then I had them go to Mom's or stay with one of their friends who managed to show up here until I would throw them out!)

I've been doing those exercises in some form even during recovery. Even if I didn't push it too much. Without them it gets pretty stiff and painful. I start in the gym all out this Wednesday.

Have a good evening.
