Hi Theresa, glad to hear the great news. I am so happy for you that your test showed nothing serious. I am really tired tonight. I did a lot of running around tonight. I will talk to you soon.

Bookah, I agree with everyone else about the letter...very well composed. You go girl!

Nan, way to go on the grocery shopping. I know what a challenge that is for you with your slower recovery and additional back/leg problems. I've been feeling pretty good but then had that cramping feeling this afternoon and then some sharp pains on the left side tonight. If I press down on the area where the pain is it goes away. Weird.

I've got to do a few things around the house. Will post more later.

Nanette, yeah I was really glad that everything turned out normal in the test. I just wish my bowels would straighten out. I think if they did I'd feel so much better. My back hasn't been doing so bad, I have a strange suspicion its the baby making me hurt so bad by days end. I think the older she gets it will be less up and down with her. She is more indepnedant and using a walker and holding her bottle so that helps so much. I did a lot of running around today too and cleaning etc. I am beat. My granddaughter was with me she is 10. That kind of slows ya down. We have a big bridal shower here Saturday and I frankly cannot wait for it to come so I can relax. How is your back doing? Well, I am going to hit the sack. Do you get to watch Action News up there? I love that channel.

Hi Theresa and Laura, I don't know why but I walked more than I normally do today and was standing for over an hour straight at my ds boyscout meeting tonight and while my back and neck are getting very stiff my leg isn't doing so bad. I am so surprised. I am hoping I don't pay for it later on tonight. I did not even take a nap at all today so I am hoping to get some sleep tonight.

Theresa - Have a great time on Saturday. Bridal showers are always a lot of fun.

Laura, where are you? I am sorry I missed you again. I agree that is weird that when you press down on the pain it goes away. I hope you feel better and don't have to go to the dr for it. I am going to go play some games so if you come back on check to see if I am over at them.

Nan, sorry I missed you again. I'm feeling okay. I think I was just fatigued from walking at work.

That's too bad about the lady whose sister passed away. The distance doesn't help either, I'm sure.

I'm getting pretty sleepy myself so am going to bed. I hope you get a good nights' sleep.

[quote=singingmad]Christine - My DP has dyslexia and is currently studying for her MBA. For her dyslexia meant learning VERY slowly because reading is such a big part and for her it can mean reading pages over and over again until she gets it. I help a bit with her assignments as far as making sure they're cohesive and say what she means, but it did take her a long time to get up the courage to go back to school. Now in her 40's she's actually finding she LIKES to take classes. I'm a very fast reader so she sometimes gets sensitive if I ask how long she's going to be working at something, or how far she's gotten with her reading. But she knows I support her and we BOTH know that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses.

Has your DP tried voice recognition software? She would train it to her voice, and as she talks into the pc mic the software types what she says with proper grammar, spelling and such. We will try this with the girls. It is a new intervention, and is becoming better and better as the technology advances.

I am not freaking out, actually I have suspected it for a while now. My biggest frustration was getting the powers that be off their collective hinies to do something other than tell me she needed more reading practice. I love their dad who is pretty severely affected with dyslexia. They are great kids who will find their niche and excell.

Well, have a great day all~

Christine - You have such a great attitude about this. Glad to hear you are not freaking out. With a mom like you there is no doubt the kids will do great and definitely excel.

Hi Nanette, I think it depends on the size of the stone, sometimes they just pass if they are small enough. I am sure I will find out. A huge scare today my dd's college got a threat that a student emailed the teachers stating they (he or she) were coming to shoot everybody.Luckily she has late morning/early afternoon classes, so she never left for school. It is closed today and they say maybe Monday too. I am glad she is home.I will talk to you soon.I am sure today will be hectic for me, alot going on at once.
Take Care,
Jayne
