Ele,
The fair is still there. WOW! Our state fair is the end of sept for 10 days. The county fair is also 10 days and leaves on Monday. I may try to go if I do my hair in time.

Law,
Advice: Don't take any melatonin before u go over there.......LOL
and don't get plastered.

I am relaxing this weekend. I am going to try and vacuum (first time) since my DS didn't before he left for school. I had him doing it this summer. My mother's b-day dinner last night was nice and I had a couple glasses of wine and came home tipsy with BF. We did outercourse and it was great. He and I have only been together a yr and had a bad X life because it hurt too much. I am going to take my time with real X because I AM SCARED!

I am still the same hormonally anyway. I am sitting here watching stepmom and crying. I love this movie. I am going to the new mcdonald's with my free coupon for my quarter pounder. I usally don't do fast food or a lot of beef, but it is free. I will get some fries too (really being bad). Hope I don't get sick with my bad tummy. Then I will go walking this evening.
I think this is the annivesary of tupac and princess diana. They are just about on every channel.

It's funny, my dh and I still have not had X either. Seems like when we think we are going to something comes up. I just finished my antibiotics and I am feeling better, now he is sick with the flu/cold poor baby. I want us to feel good before we FINALLY have the funzies..

Have fun eating that quarter pounder it's been a long time since I have had one of those...years and years...

I'm afraid to have x w/anyone. After the internal exam by the OB I was bleeding quite a bit yesterday. Yuck. I don't feel like having anything going on down there for a while. I must still be healing.

On another post on this site we've been talking about weight and how even our tastes in foods can change post surgery. I used to love roasted corn on the cob at the Fair and I've gone three times now so far and haven't had one ear of corn. I am usually never ever hungry anymore, but i force myself to eat, basically, since one MUST eat. LOL if I ever stop. But it's strange.

One of the hostesses said the hysteritaville site has a lot of info on eating, etc.

Over and out. Gotta grade and I am SOOOOO procrastinating today.

Ele,
I am a little worried about you. I think that you shouldn't go to the fair again and just chill. U shouldn't be bleeding after a hysterectomy, right? I am confused y u should bleed after an internal exam, also. Maybe, your surgery is different from mine with that. All the stitches and stuff. I forgot to find out if I had any stitches. I don't think so though. Mainly just cautherization. PLEASE RELAX THE REST OF THE WEEKEND! I just don't have your energy. I haven't had a lot of energy for a yr when my problems ballooned.

Smile - Hysterectomy dates Jul 09-Jul 16,2007 Don't worry..........

Jennice, don't worry too much. I think it's normal probably to bleed after having the surgeon check around a LOT to admire his work on his last day of practice. I wasn't surprised and now there is just the smallest amount of discharge/spotting today. Almost nil. It was quite a shock to see the red after but I had taken a pad along anyway, bec. I had a feeling that would happen. It is just a reminder that it's 'raw' in there and no wonder even though we get a go ahead to 'be normal' we are totally not normal

Don't worry. Tomorrow I will 'chill' here at home. Grade. Do laundry. Hang out w/granddaughter. We might go see Mr. Bean.

That Fair today: i think about 180,000 souls went. It was sooooo crowded in the afternoon. Granddaughter was tuckered out bec. I woke her up at 5:30 so we could go see that bridge. We had to. That was a traumatic experience. That and the heat and lack of sleep did tucker her out. We heard a wonderful gospel choir at the Fair. That was fun. We've been home since about 3:30 or 4. I'll rest. I've gotta finish all those papers anyway.

I just get restless when I don't move. Even tonite I thought, maybe i should ride a bike. Am i nuts? I won't. The most I will do is walk to the car to check and make sure the windows are closed and i might have to pick up the teen daughter but i told her not to ask for a ride later than 9 p.m. bec. i am so tired and the little one, too.

Thanks for your concern. I guess i try to go full motion ahead. Oh, i told the doc i was exhausted/pins/needles/ knots and probably bec. i was back at work and he said, 'good, you are earning a living. That's the pain of earning a living.' LOL Easy for him to say on his last day of work! Did i already mention, they/he did tell me the name of a young OB lady who is taking his place. I said it's good she's young; she will outlast me and i won't have to change docs again if i am lucky!!

Okay, enough for tonite. Thanks for writing Jennice. You chill at your house and i'll be chillin' at mine...at least figuratively. It is still WAY too hot in MN. The kids are going to non air conditioned schools and it's going to be close to 90 thru W or Th.

Teen is in for rude shock when school starts. No more sleepovers, Sunday School on Sundays and waking up at 6 a.m. SHOCK of the century for her.

off i go. granddaughter says I am writing too much.

E.

Hey Jennice,
Just a note on the tube thing... They actually did take both of my tubes but left my ovaries.
