I am 3 weeks out and I have been having painful tugging/pulling feelings. But I have yet to see stiches or blood. I wonder if that will be the next thing it seems like we all are a little different.

Lin sorry to hear about dh having the flu. What a bummer! I'm just getting online now to check out the website. It has now become a habit I now have a packed house for the week with my nieces here. But the cousins are so excited to be together. They will be up late I'm sure with their giggling. DH asked them to please allow me to rest. So far they are being very good.

Crossroads and byfaith: I am feeling just like you.....tugging and pulling sensations and the bright blood just the other night with some brown in it that looked like could be stitches. Ugh, this is all so strange isnt it? Tomorrow makes week 3 for me!

I'm 3 weeks now and I'm having misc pains now as well. Nothing major, it throbs in certain areas and then goes away. I've had a nasty infection which has set me back some - but thank God I only have 3 more days of the Levaquin. That stuff makes me sick for hours after I take it.

I have a hard "package" around my incision that my doctor is considering draining. Now that is gross and I imagine could lead to another infection. I'll find out on Thursday what she decides to do.

My DH is going back to work tomorrow so I'll be on my own. Having him to myself for 3 weeks was divine...Now I've got to strike out on my own.

Hello ladies, it's been 3 weeks today for me too. Same thing going on here. Some pulling and tighting and for the last week alittle pink when I wipe sometime. I haven't seen any stitches yet though. So it seems that we are all pretty much healing about the same. Which is great to no.

Good Report !!

Last Friday i made a trip to the doctor... in the next city, 45 min away.... first trip since i got home on the15th.

the roads here in saskatchewan arent very good... kinda bumpy... so after a day of travel, and walking in superstore (grocery) to get my prescription, i was done. spent that evening, and saturday on my back, cause the pain was so bad in my side.

anyways... the doctor took off the bandage, and said to leave it off... the waterproof bandage tape was causing me blisters... she said like allergic... so, ya fun.

she said that pathology report came back.

there was a 4 centimetre tumor of cancer in myuterus, and the surrounding tissue was precancerous. there was adenomyosis in the walls of the uterus, so thankfully it wasnt the cancer invading the walls.
the ovaries and tubes were fine. as were the lymph nodes she tested...

overall, no cancer has spread, ... i am cancer free! no treatments needed!

now i just have to heal up... just have a bad pain in my left side that flares up, feels like stabbing, .ripping burning pain in one spot... nice... NOT.

thats it for now.

I have been told I have nerve damage on my right hand side. I have severe pain which is unrelated to stretching or anything and goes down very low almost to the pubic bone. I have swelling which is totally numb and may/may not resolve. The pain for me is like a sickening pain makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach at times. The right hand side was where the surgeon really had to cut deep to cut away a very large fibroid and the adenomyosis was concentrated.

Hope this helps, am sure all our pain is different but generally I am told this is recognised as nerve damage. Although to me it does feel more as if I have torn something.

Good luck and I hope your pain resolves,

take care xxxxx

So I'm standing there trying to figure out if it is blood in the urine, blood from my t'aint, or could it be my hemorhoids. Finally figured out it was probably the stitches. Tonight I'm really dragging. We are active in our church, so Sunday is a busy day. My church family has been great. They tried to feed us to death the first week. And anytime I needed a ride or anything when DH was at work, there was someone willing.

I too am having the same problem. I am also passing some clots. I asked my doctor if this was normal and he said yes. I just hope he knows what he is doing.

I had such a bad night of hot flashing and night sweats - I woke up several times soaking wet and tremendously thirsty. I've had hot flashes and night sweats before but I am wondering if was related to consuming excess salt. My DH and I went to a viewing last evening and since it was kind of late and we were distance from our home, we stopped at a fast food place. We don't usually eat stuff like that because of the fat.

This morning I am bloated and have to wash my sheets. Guess I won't be stopping for fast food again.
