Hi all
I have spent time catching up on everyone's posts... wow time is flying by.
I am unemployed- my law firm refused to let me use my already-approved vaction time to study for the bar exam.. so I am gone.
I study every day, and the pressure is tremendous... basically, I MUST pass in order to work as an attorney.
Right now, I am unemployable, I have a JD and yet I am not admitted to practice anywhere. So I am studying my brains out, and looking for odd jobs to help pay the bills, because unemployment doesn't do it!

I do have time (for the first time since starting law school and getting divorced) to go to the gym regularly and care for myself properly, and THAT is a nice feeling.

I wish everyone the best, I will check back in here & there in between such fascinating subject as Constitutional Law and Contracts. Ugh.

So the NP called in a script and I still feel strange. Anyone else have any problems? Could it be healing?

Sorry some of you are still having complications- I LOVE not having my period anymore (used to be 2-3 weeks a month)!
My belly muscles still hurt when I do Abd. work at the gym, and sometimes I still have that "energy crash" in the afternoons.. and it has been 3 months.
The bar exam is July 30 and 31 and my goal is to be stronger, smarter & fitter so I make it first try.

TunaCat, I have no doubt you wil make the bar on your first try and will be an attorney with heart - unlike your previous employer. Hope you are giving yourself study breaks, too!

I haven't posted much... I am having such a hard time keeping up. I am tired, anxious, and week feeling most of the time...and so HOT!!!! It is all I can do to make it through the day at work. When I get home, I fall into bed and then I can't sleep.

Two weeks ago, I got up at 1:00 am to get a drink of water and fainted. I hit on my face and had to have thirteen stitches in my bottom lip. The only thing that presented from a battery of blood test was a slightly low TSH ( it was .35).

Anyone else has thyroid issues? I sooooo want to feel better!!

I went to my Dr because of another yeast and bacterial infection and I told him about a pain I've been having for about the last month thinking it was healing from my hyster. I had to go to my GP for a referral today and found out today that I most likely have adhesions forming again or endo has formed on my bowls. So far I've been told two different things by my GYN and GP. I have to go to a GI specialist and have tests done. Ohh won't this ever end? If it isn't one thing it is another! If it is adhesions I'm not having surgery I'll live with the pain until I can't stand it anymore. I don't feel as much pain as I have in the past with my adhesions so hopefully it will be a long time until I have to make a decision about surgery. I also keep getting infections I've had two more hopefully that will stop soon too! I guess it could be worse. At least the hyster cured most of my problems and pain. Someday I hope to have good positve posts...

I, too, have been under the knife again. I had 2 more surgeries 6 days ago. About 10 days before my hyster I found out I had a herniated disc in my neck. We tried some conservative physical therapy for 4 weeks. I returned to work and the pain would not subside and just got worse. Then I began having lots of pain and numbness in my right hand and pain and weakness in my shoulder muscle. I returned to my GP she sent me to a neurosurgeon. We had another MRI, Nerve Conduction Study, and an EMG. So the results were a herniated cervical disc (between 5 and 6) and carpal tunnel in both hands. Isn't that great So, on July 1, I had a cervical disc replacement and carpal tunnel release on my right hand. So I'm off work, recovering once again. Now I've found a lump of some sort on my left forearm. Will this be yet another surgery? When does it all get better??

Sorry to hear of the troubles of my Hystersisters. :-(

I am at three weeks and counting before my next va-jay-jay surgery. July 29th to be exact. I am only JUST NOw getting back to taking responsibilities around here on my own, i.e. doing the "man work" of the house. I've had a list of things that needed to be done since before my original surgery back in March. Do you think anyone could do anything around here? Of course not......so, I'm back to doing things myself. I'm probably doing some things that I shouldn't be doing but what choice do I have. Oh well.....I have a feeling until my lifestyle allows me to stop doing "man work" around here, I just have to get used to occasional repair work on the va-jay-jay. ::::sigh::::

Anyhow, hope everyone gets better. I'll keep you posted on the continuing saga...."As the Perineum Returns".........to be continued!

Oh, yeah....June 13th I had sugery on my Achilles tendon. It didn't work. Back to the Orthopedist on the 28th to plan the next surgery....this one will have me in a plaster cast for about six weeks.
