Thanks JesusCrew I hope you feel better soon. You sure have had a hard time. Is your cyst staying the same or getting smaller? Hopefully I will only have to change my diet which could be good I hope I'll loose weight! Take care

At the last US it was smaller but I had a lot of fluid. I have to talk to the DR tomorrow to find out how it is now.

Hey there ladies!

I am finally caught up on what I've missed...I think! Sorry to hear that some of you are having more problems and surgeries. One of these days all the parts will function right at the same time.

I am feeling good. Still have twinges of discomfort during my cycle. Glad to not have the bleeding though .

Been feeling depressed lately even though I'm on meds. Still having sleep issues too. I guess that's normal considering my husband is still unemployed. He has been to a few interviews, but haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully we'll hear something in the next week or so. Hubby flew to NC for an interview yesterday. If he gets that job it would be nice to move somewhere warmer, but it creates a lot of other issues. I guess time will tell. My brain hurts right now.

Been spending time with the kids, doing yard work, working, etc.
I'll update when I can.

Take care,
Michelle

GI said everything is normal. He thinks it could be adhesions or endometriosis he said to follow up with my GP. Guess time will tell. I have a follow up with my GP the end of the month. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. Sure hope the pain gets better and I'll be normal like the rest of you.

Hi, all....

Well, I had my preop yesterday. I go back to the OR on 7/29. My Urogyn said that I should only be in the hospital overnight! So I am anticipating a much better recovery than the last time around. So I'm having another A/P repair, cystocele repair, repair of the perineum, and revision of scar tissue. The diagnosis is "recurrent cystocele with wound breakdown". I'm not even nervous at all.

Emotionally, I'm in such a better place than I was last time around. I've lost about 15-20 more pounds since the original surgery, plus the evil dh is out of the picture this time. My kids are all getting along. I went officially to half-time, teleworker status with my job......and I have a 3.8 GPA in school. Things are so much better now than the first time around. Plus this surgery is much less complicated than the last one.

I'll post after the surgery to report in.

Blessings to all.......

Well I had my Docters appointment Friday. I go this Thursday for accupunture and ultrasound therapy. She figures it is scar tissue that is causing all the pain. Hopefully it will work. She asked if there is more pain when my bowels are full, and I said I am having the opppisite problem. I can't keep anything in the bowels. I am actually having a hard time making it to the toilet sometimes. Of course this weeeknd, I couldn't have a BM if my life depended on it! So I will just keep my eye on things and go to my reg Doc if it continues. GArr. Oh well. I did have my 3rd annual girls night on Sat. and did we have a blast!! There was 12 of us this year! It gets bigger every year! All my girlfriends are excited about next year, when we;ll be in our new place! WOOHOO!!
Anyways, hope everyone has a great week! Denise good luck on the 29!

Thanks! I'm am no even thinking about it this week. I have finals today and Wednesday and a Sociology presentation tomorrow. So this week is pretty much focusing on school and work. I already packed my bag and am only preparing for an overnight stay. So, I'm staying very positive. The Paxil and Premarin must be doing their job 'cause I feel fantastic. Plus, I've been working out on my eliptical every day and I'm almost at my 10 lb. weight loss that I wanted before the 29th.

On the 28th, I have a follow up for my achilles. I'm pretty sure another surgery will result from that but again, not worried.

I hope everyone is doing well and those that are suffering will get better. I'll probably post later in the week then I'll update after my surgery.

Hysterhugs to all!
