keep those updates coming!!

Afternoon ladies!

Today the sun was shining, Spring was in the air, no work, no school, I was feeling REALLY good and I wanted to go out and enjoy it with the scrumptious boyfriend.

So I dragged him to the hoity-toity fabric shop downtown, where I picked out some pretty French blue "onion" trim to use for drapery tiebacks....
I get to the counter and the trim is $56.00 EVEN AT 50% OFF! Holy Guacamole!

I just finished law school, but I am still a starving student, not yet a hoity-toity lady, so I put the stuff back, went to local craft store, and found 2 rolls of ribbon at $1.99 each that will do the trick!

We then went to the pharmacy and FINALLY got my Ambien prescription (Dr's nurse had "forgotten" to call it in for 2 days)

Then went for lunch to a tiny little restaurant in town that has great prices and great food- by this time my belly twinges were getting sharper, my incision was stinging from wearing pants, and it hurt to sit up in the chair.

Got home, where I had a lower-left belly pain so sharp and strong that I gasped and my knees buckled. Boyfriend went white.

So I am back in bed with a Percocet, hot tea, and a heating pad. Done for the day.
I am cold all the time (I know you hot flash sufferers won't be extending sympathy here!) and I wonder if my thyroid med needs to be upped due to surgery or something.

Anyway, I admire those of you who have gone back to work and/or given up your pain meds. I still need mine, just 1 Percocet at night, usually, because that's when the day catches up with me and I am feeling very sore.

I am envious of SW's Vin Diesel donut, and the fact that she is not embarrassed to take it out with her!

(I took a pillow to school to sit on for my lectures, who CARES what people think when your bottom feels like it's been stuffed with hot marbles??)

I love to hear about your days... please keep the updates coming!

I have turned Evil! Dh and the kids are afraid of me they dont know which of my personalities will show up at any given time.
I kept my ovaries why is this happening, I have hot flashes that make me angry and mean. I talked to my DR at my appt last week but she said it's normal. I cant take the mood swings, Heck they scare me.

I'm sorry you are back in bed. I hope you feel better soon.

As far as the pillow/donut goes.....I, too, have a donut but it pulls too much on the quilt work I have down there. Sooo.....I have a nice soft cushy pillow that went with me to the nail salon and the hair salon....frankly any place I think I might need to sit for more than 15 minutes. No embarrassment here. If my hiney ain't happy, I ain't happy....If I ain't happy.....NOBODY is happy!!!!!

Pamper, pamper, pamper ladies......we are still princesses!

Specifically ask for temporary estrogen. I still have my ovaries and I got some yesterday. Not sure if that is why my emotions are better but they are supposed to work.

Hugs,

I am embarrassed but I'm getting use to the "looks" from other people. That is why I decided to name my lovely new friend-Vin Diesel. Who wouldn't want to sit on Vin Diesel all day? LOL You too can have a Vin Diesel he costs $6 at any local pharmacy. What would you name yours?

I'm also still taking my vicodin at night. Along with ibuprofen 800 mg every 6 hours around the clock until my next Dr appt in 3 weeks. I couldn't image not taking anything! More power to those who don't need any meds. Guess I'm a baby still needing mine but I only have 14 pills left and they are like gold to me!

I would have to name mine Christian Bale or no wait maybe Matthew Mconaghey (SP)...

Sure could use some of that TLC today to get rid of these body aches!!!

Too funny! Ty P....can build you anything. Denise all you need rebuilt right now is that perineum and I don't think Ty has a medical liscence!
