Holy Cow
You are superwoman - what floors me is that you think your other kids weren't so big, and girlfriend the fact that you went and had two after the first.

Denise for goodness sakes - listen to your body and start to look after yourself, it's time and you so deserve it !!

Bless you sister

Thank you, Debbie. My big fear is that I'm not doing enough. I'm afraid I'm taking it too easy but today I pushed my own limit by just going to Target & Michaels. I was gone maybe 1 1/2 hours and felt that horrible vaginal pressure the whole time. So, now I'm back in bed where I'll probably stay until Monday.

We're all superwomen to some extent. If I were smart enough all those years ago, when I was told at 38 weeks that the baby was around 10 pounds I would have DEMANDED a C-section and I certainly would not have let me go to 42 weeks 3 days before going into labor!!!!! But it was the Navy, 22 years ago.....thank God, Navy medicine has come a loooonnnnggg way since then!

Okay I just broke down crying to my DH and told him I am tired of the house, tired of movies, tired of books tired of TV, and I am tired of feeling bad. He accused me of being mean to him and I just broke down and cried.

He hugged me and now he is taking me to a nursery to buy some spring flowers. I hope that helps.

I think I might have a fever. I'm freezing and my thermostat shows it as being 72 degrees in here. I took my temp but I think it is broken because I am wrapped up in a blanket shivering. They checked me on Monday to see if I had an infection.

Can an infection develop that quickly? Or maybe I just caught a bug and am getting sick. I hope I'm not getting sick!

I know this sounds like a weird question....but are you on stool softeners? My dr. told me last week that one of the weird side effects of the Surfac (stool softener) was it could cause fevers.

Also, I discovered that a lot of times I thought I had a fever during week 1 and 2 turned out to probably be hot flashes. I felt like I had a raging fever then I would take my temp and it would be just a little above normal. I was checked for infection several times and there wasn't any until I developed the UTI early in week 3.

Just a thought....

Good evening girls

I'm sorry for those of you not feeling well today : (
After a horrendous Thursday and Friday, I finally had a good today today.
Went to my lecture, then the Mall...
now I am dressing in my MATERNITY pants for dinner out tonight!
I am so excited, going to wear something other than sweatpants and eat REAL food!! ( not from a freezer and micromave)

I plan on having a Margarita. Bad kitty!

I would still monitor your temps. I kept a log on my computer and took it to the doc with me. She said that was helpful. It wasn't a consistent fever and no infection was found so we chalked it up to either the stool softeners, hot flashes, or both.

Hope you feel better soon!

I feel a bit guilty to say that I feel pretty darn good, I have been going all day long and just getting ready to feed the family. I feel for all my sisters who are still in pain I have been keeping up when I finally sit and rest to see how everyone is. I would like everyone to rest and feel better........NOW!

Don't feel guilty! It gives the rest of us hope that we won't be in this perpetual state of recovery forever! ;-)
