hysterectomy going to happen

Hi I am here looking for information, support, anything will be greatly appreciated! I am 32 yrs old and have what they think is adenomyosis...I am living with chronic pelvic pain and went to the gyne yesterday and we have decided this is the best bet for me. I really don't know where to start how to prepare it will be happening within the next 3 months as I am on the 2nd urgent list-1st is CA. I could be called at any time and realy want some advice from ladies who are going through the same thing or have been through it. I will be keeping my ovaries and the surgeon will be doing the surgery laproscopic if possible.

Also you may want to attend a pre-op chat or two (if you look on the right side of your screen you will see the schedule). The last one for 2009 will be Thursday 12/3 but they pick back up in January.

I am 32 and just had my TVH due to adanomiosis as well. I had it on Nov. 16. Just try as much as you can to be ready for your recovery later. And be sure to listen and not overdo it like your DR tells you. I absolutely will follow all orders to not do more than I have to for 6-8 weeks, no lifting more than a gallon of milk for that time as well.
