Surgery Nov. 8th

Hi my name is kathy and I will be having a tah on Nov. 8th. I havent been on here in a while, ins. denied my claim for surgery and it has taken doctor 4 months to convience tham that I really do need this I spent so long waiting and wishing that they would hurry up and get it over but now that I have an actual date set I am a nervous wreck. I am wondering if I will be different afterwards and if I will be a hormonal wreck. I am also scared that I will go trough such a major surgery and I will not get any relief. I am sure everyone has went through this. I am also worried about how my sex life will be afterwards me and my husband have always had a great sex life and don't want that to change.

I'm having TAH on Nov 8th as well! Feels like we're twins, lol. I was quite nervous last week but now that my pre-op appt is behind me I'm evening off somewhat. I guess the biggest thing on my mind is doing the bowel prep. I've had a more serious surgery before and know the rollercoaster of emotions. Let's keep in touch!
