How long is the wait for surgery in the UK?

hi only 2 weeks to go till i see gyn 4th july
really anxious to what they will do i have 19cm fibroid and desperate to have the opp bexause i have so much pain every day my doctor gave me utovlan tablets which i think are progestorone , i have been taking these since dec now i dont have periods .but i have a clotting disorder with my blood and should not really be on them . i am so uptight thinking they will want me to try something else. i am 46 now and just hoping the will do it my doc did say they will offer me the opp, but till i go i cant settle . how long are you waiting if the do offer i live in the uk so will be going to jessops hospital sorry to go on

Im also a uk lady and I had my 1st gyn appointment in the middle of february, I had my surgery apointment about 2 weeks later.. and that was for May. I could have gone in sooner, but was away for a couple of weeks.
I had Total Abdominal Hysterectomy just over 3 weeks ago.. feel better daily.. If your worried drop me a Private message..
