Waiting for pathology report - papillary type seen

You are quite literally not alone, Tricksie - I am waiting on my pathology report from my Davinci hysterectomy which I had on 8/5. My surgeon went in planning on finding the more common type of cancer - which was there, but she also saw this papillion type on the frozen section that was taken during the operation. So, she also took out lots of lymph nodes and some fat tissue from the bowel. I think we both need to wait for the reports and stay off the internet searches because I found some really scary stuff, but the Hystersisters are givng you some great encouraging news and I am soaking it all up with you. God Bless You All for staying here even after being cancer free for so long. It really helps.

Even with this great Davinci surgery, I was not able to post anything until a week after my surgery-just too hard to sit up. But I read something everyday and it really made a difference for me. I tilted my laptop so I could read while I was lying flat!

I am only 54 and I have a 12 year old son and a husband who has schitzophrenia.....but I have a fantastic gynecological oncologist, God in my life, loving friends and family and I have this web site so I am staying positive since the alternative is to feel crappy all the time.

We will get through this!!
