Pain

So I never knew how many of my general pains could be due to my uterus. I figured if I wasn't bleeding then it had to be something else. I can't believe I was so ignorant.
I read up about adenomyosis after the transvaginal ultrasound came back showing possible adenomyosis and slightly enlarged uterus. Now I know the pains I have are symptoms of this. Usually I would get cramps but over the years things have gotten worse and worse.
I am not on my period now but started out at church this morning feeling like the bottom was falling out of my abdomen and then I passed out during praise and worship practice; scared my pastor's wife like everything. I have never passed out from these pains before.
Now I feel like a hypocondriact (sp) pinning all my pains on needing a hyste. I just know that every pain lets me know I made the right decision and I can't wait to see how many of them go away.

I have surgery on Tuesday and today I am cramping like there is no tomorrow!! It feels like I am going to start again, but my period isn't due till March 2nd (Well after my period.) I also have other pains that ale me. Back aches, I get nerve pain up and down my legs. I just can't wait for this to be over. I am also interested to see what goes away after surgery. (((())))

I had a SIGNIFICANT amount of relief from a lot of pains I didn't realize were endo or adeno.

It's hard not to think or wonder what every little thing is, so don't think you are a hypochondriac!

Last spring I went to visit a church that had a lengthy praise and worship service. The endo made me have to sit down 20 minutes in, I was so embarassed I haven't gone back. I told the family we were with I was in pain I didn't want them to think I was being disrespectful! They understood, just still very embarassing, so I feel your embarassment!
