Upcoming hysterectomy - would love to hear from others

Hi,
Hoping that there are some wise ‘been there, done that’ Melbourne women that have recently gone though a TLH to relieve ongoing excruciating pain caused by years of non/mis-diagnosed and non treated (besides any pain killers) endometriosis and Adenomyosis?
After years of being told I was a hypochondriac, that it was normal period pain, that it was normal after childbirth pain, that it was pelvic pain, that is was Chronic pelvic pain now linked back to earlier years of sexual abuse (even though I had dealt with majority of the abuse 8 yrs prior to having first symptom of endo & aden), to be sent home being labelled a junkie (and feeling like one) time and time again from requesting yet another pain killer subscription from a dr.
I’ve been put onto a 6-8 week waiting list for a TLH and would looooove to hear from you in regards to your journey, your ups & downs, what worked & what didn’t, and if your in my area; free for coffee?
