Home and happy!

It was nothing like as bad as I imagined!
Spinal anaesthetic, TVH. Kept ovaries. No complications. Little pain. Lost 2 kilos.
I wish everyone as comfortable and straightforward hysterectomy.

Home and happy!

Me too.

Vag. hyst was able to keep ovaries. There was a cyst that had to be removed from my right ovary. I did get very sick from the morphene and had to switch to something else. Other than that I've had no complications.

I've been taking it easy at home. I have to admit that I do need the pain medication and I'm taking a stool softner.

We got 6" of snow last night so I'm very glad not to have to drive in the bad road.

Home and happy!

Don't worry Kay M.

I'm taking my naps. I resisted the urge to push the dishwasher into place last night. I let DH do that.

My routine since I've been home is up for 1 hour - take a nap for 3 hours and then I repeat the schedule.

The princess' before me have given me great advise to not over do.
