Endo honkerblonked off at pity

Hello lovely ladies!
I'm just complaining here.
My hysterectomy is scheduled for December 16th and I swear if one More person says I'm sorry or what about kids? I'm going to scream. I've been in pain for 20 years and my periods last months not days. I get it that most women are usually sad at the loss of their uterus and their ability to have children and I feel for them. But I've never been able to have kids. I want to hear congratulations!
when you've been on your period for 14 months and the doctor says there's nothing we can do for you I say **** you take it all out.
I've known I've had PCOS and endometriosis since I was 16 I'm now 36 and no one has done anything for either the entire time, until I met my current doctor, she's amazing.
I'm excited about surgery and the prospect of not being in pain or bleeding all the time. This is like the best Christmas present ever and I am very selfish and sick of people treating me like somebody just died.
I am seriously considering bringing a congratulations balloon with me to the hospital as a visual cue that I have waited a very long time for this and I deserve it. And no I don't need a grief counselor for the loss of my womb, it has been nothing but trouble and agony to me and I can't believe I've had to suffer this long to be taken seriously.
Thanks for letting me vent (like you had a choice) and thank you for this website that has been very helpful and reassuring.
Luna
