Abdominal Support Sizing

Hey all,

I wanted to purchase the abdominal binder on this site but had a question about sizing. My size fits in extra princess and queen. I don't know which size I should get. I'm worried that the extra princess will be too tight and the queen will be too big. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Surgery is in 2 weeks!!

Re: Abdominal Support Sizing

I went with the Queen, and it fits me. I was a size 26 when I got it, and I'm down to a 24 now, but those extra few inches just helped me to be able to do it up better.

Re: Abdominal Support Sizing

I ordered the princess/extra princess. I measured toward the top of it's sizing range and believe it or not I had plenty of length. It fit perfectly. I think that the queen would have been too big. If you are not sure about the sizing, call the store they can help with the correct size.

Re: Abdominal Support Sizing

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the binder they sell here and the one the hospital is supposed to supply? I don't want to pay for one from the hosp. if I can get a better one from here. Has anyone tried both of them to know the difference?

Re: Abdominal Support Sizing

undone - my hospital didn't have or offer a binder - I bought two from the hystersister store - a regular one and the one with the ice packs - I love them especially the ice packs it is so soothing and perfect not too cold on the skin and makes a huge difference. I've been wearing a binder non stop except for showers.

Re: Abdominal Support Sizing

I did receive a binder at the hospital. However I think the doctor is the one who will give orders for a binder not something the hospital will provide unless the doctor orders one. Check with your doctor to see if this is something he/she does.

The one I received was 12 inches wide. But it became annoying after 2 days. Just too wide. That's why I ordered one from here. Great decision. Perfect size at 6 inches wide. It gives me support just where I want it.

Happy shopping.
