Total with Tummy T!

Having TAH 4 wks from today. Read some Tummy tuck posts and interested if anyone else is having or has had one. Am all set to get full TT so grateful to hear your ideas.

From all I have read they all say it may be a little more discomfort initially but the tummy tuck portion is fast healing and really we may as well have a benefit from going thru all this. For me I have been suffering back and hip pain for 3-4 yrs. that has been increasing so this past Jan. when I had pap test(after not having one for 5 yrs.) she found mass and ultrasound found at least 2 subserosal (attached to outside uterus)fibroids. At least 18 cm+ so I am really hoping that removal will take care of the pain I have been having. DH is the one that sugg. TT when he began to read some posts here on hystersisters. When I called my ins. provider to check on the possibility of having TT too they said there is a long waiting list for procedures here in Hawaii but since I was already scheduled for TAH it might happen. Well God has His ways. Now i am having full TT to deal with loose skin from childbirth and even tho it is more it will be worth the end result. I will be praying for you tomorrow as I know you are in His hands. God bless-Aloha.

Have you read "and tummy tuck, too" under Hysteritaville? Lots of good info. in the very first post on that board here!! Several of us had it all done pretty close together.

I'm 5 weeks post op now. I just recently felt better for a couple of days. Now today I am miserable again. The healing is definitely slow going!!

ARE YOU!! having a tummy tuck? NICE! I dont think I could afford it and I am sure my wont pay for it! I have to pay for all my meds as it is!! Good luck ladies!!
