Need to find a new dr (children ment)

I'm supposed to go in tomourrow for a full fertility work up to find out what my chances would be of having more children. I have decided that if the chances are low (which I'm sure they are) I will have the surgery this summer. Well, I suddenly get a call from on dr's office and they tell me they need to reschedule me to see the NP b/c my dr has left the practice!!!! First, this is not an annual, it's a hysterictomy consult! I asked if they knew where she had gone, and they said not yet. I had just spoken to my dr on the phone the week prior! i'm totally freaked out now.

I will still go in tomorrow to see the NP and have some tests done, and if they are not able to find out where my dr has gone, I may chat w/ the other dr in the practice.

I'm just a mess. This has been such a hard decision as it is, and now to possiby have a new dr!

OK, finished w/ my rant. Thanks.

:console; ekcutshall -

I'm glad you found us. You don't need the extra stress but realize that frequently we will recommend 2nd opinions or consults with other Drs so think of it that way.

If you don't match with the new Dr. find one that you do match with. I changed Dr.s and surgical approachs in under 2 weeks. So don't let this stress you, think of it as doing the best thing for you.

So sorry that is happening to you.

I was alittle upset my gyn couldn't do my surgery as I was having way too many problems but I am so happy in a way as I really like my new Uro/gyn.

Hope things work out for you!!
