Question

Hello:

I'm suppose to be getting my period nov.5, but yesterday my Doc.
put me on birth control for one month, my surgery is next month. He says he doesnt want me to get my period because of my anemia. So my question is: Since I started on the pill yesterday will that mean that my period wont come down tomorrow?

CONFUSSED! Please clear this doubt for me

Depending on how strong a pill he put you on, you might still have a period after only one or two pills, but it will probably be smaller than usual. I would think it would take more hormone in your system than one or two pills, but it just might work the way he was thinking. Are you sure he didn't intend you to start the pill pack after the start of this period?

No he told me to start it and that this would probably stop my period. I'm just all nervous and confussed about everything from surgery to the outcome and right now I have cramps and I dpnt want my period to come down because I'll eliminate all the iron I just got injected. Ay, not good.

I'll just keep praying
