Reoperative Hystoscopic Procedure for failed ablation- hopeful!

I had a failed ablation due to a fibroid- I had painful blood pool behind my uterus that wasn't going to resolve itself. The doctor that did the original ablation stated that the only other option would be to have a hysterectomy.

Then I did some searching and found a doctor that does corrective surgery for failed ablations in Rochester NY. He is the only one in the united states that specializes in this and he will tell you all about it. I had the procedure done 6/2/2014 and so far so good. He wants to see me back in 4 months to check my progress.

I do have a word of caution- if you do have this procedure done- he will do a post surgery procedure to place a laminaria within your cervix 24hrs before the real procedure to cause dialation/labor/to soften the cervix. You go home to enjoy this and go back for the procedure the next day. This is something I have no experience with- absolutely HORRIBLE!!! The actual surgical procedure was a dream comparative.
