Hi again...

Hi ladies,

I've been away for awhile because my dear mother-in-law  came to visit for a week and a half during Mardi Gras. She informed me right before she came that she totally disagreed with my decision because "I could just live with the pain" and be a woman!!!! I was soooo shocked that she had the nerve to tell me this, but God helped me through her visit and now is is just a fading memory !!!!!!

But anyway, I just wanted to say hi again and let everyone know that I pray for each one of you daily!

I feel I am a bit lucky my waiting days until surgery consist of a Disney Cruise and a week on the Frio River in Texas. That is how I cope with stuff (TRAVEL!!!).

God Bless.....

Hi again...

Wow! That is hard when you get responses such as that! God does see you through a lot though. I'm new to this site and my surgery is scheduled two days after I get back from Acapulco! My trip came at the right time. Have fun in your upcoming travels!

Hi again...

Ohhh, boy, I can relate to the insensitive comments...just yesterday I overheard a friend of mine on the phone telling her bf that I was going to get "snorfleed!" Nice huh! That just made me feel so very much better!!! Kinda funny, but then kinda not!!!
Well, hang in there...not everyone is missing the brain-mouth barrier, or so I hope!

What the heck is "snorfeldoodleed", well whatever it means, I'm sure it wasn't pleasant!

Can you believe the grief we go thru???? Funny you are from Denver, so is my mother-in-law!!!!!

Maybe that is how they are up there!!!! hehee

Hi again...

Actually, I think there is some kind of safeguard in place to prevent the word I typed from appearing on this site, which I can understand, I guess--what my friend said was that I was getting "n-------," like you would do to a dog or something. At any rate, I think I would have preferred hearing the snoklefeed word, or whatever it was!!! It really was an insensitive thing to say, and I was kind of shocked and hurt to hear her say that. Hope this clears the issue up for anyone else reading my post!
