No sex drive

Hi all!
I'm 35 and I had a TAH in September of 2018. Initially my sex drive stayed the same, high. I had a lot of issues upheaval in my life over the last 6 months and lately I have no sex drive. I think about sex, I want to want sex, but when it comes time to do the deed I just... can't. Thankfully, I have a very understanding hubby. However, I'm getting more and more depressed about my lack of desire. I am using HRT in the form of a compound. It's low dose as I had low levels before my surgery and my doctors saw no reason to drastically change my levels.
I don't really know what kind of advice I'm looking for but I was hoping to find some support, and maybe some solutions that worked for others? At this point I'll take any and all advice.
Thanks for listening!

Re: No sex drive

Things going on in our lives can have a negative impact on our sex drive, but the lack of drive can also be related to hormones. Even if your hormone levels were low prior to your surgery, your ovaries were still producing beneficial hormones. If you haven't had your hormone levels tested recently, you may want to consider having that done. Perhaps some tweaking of the compound you are already using will have you back to feeling better.

No sex drive

Hi there,

This post is older, but I'm new. I found your post and I feel the same. I'm 38 and had a hyst with ovaries out last June, at 37. My doctor put me on the estrogen patch and it only helped with hot flashes and a little energy. I have zero sex drive and told my dr. She said that's the way it is, sorry. I was very upset. I'm having a second opinion this week, because I can't live like this. Sorry I don't have an answer or suggestions, I just wanted you to know you're not alone.
Thanks for posting your experience.
