3weeks before hystarectomy

my surgery is set for october5th.starting to get nervous.and anxious and want it to be done with.

I am a strong believer of 'Knowlege is power'. I think you will feel better when you learn/read more about the procedure.

I too am having the DaVinci hysto on October 1st...I am super nervous but I have been reading so much here on this awesome website and what Jackie said is true..having more knowledge about it is settling me down some...

I'm having the daVinci surgery on Oct 5th, too! The ladies here are so wonderful and helpful. I totally agree with the "knowledge is power" approach. Good luck and just keep reading!

I"m having the DaVinic on Oct 26th, and I'm so so nervous. I have been cleaning like crazy.

Last week, I was a cleaning MANIAC....this seems to be a common thing among so many of us! I liken it to nesting....

Then yesterday I went to the grocery store and literally spent double what I usually do! Like I'm stocking up to feed my family because I sense I will be gone!

And now I'm getting all sorts of other sx's that I know are stress related. I wake up and my jaw hurts- a sign I'm grinding my teeth at night! The corners of my mouth are cracking. Stupid yeast infection. Heel spur flaring. Aaaagh!

Can't help but LOL at the cleaning. I have a TAH scheduled fro October 6th and I am cleaning my guts out right now. I'm getting nervous but also anxious to get it over with!

I'm having a TAH on October 19th and am very nervous. I found this site by accident 2 weeks ago and have been reading every day ever since. All the sister's on this site have been very helpful. I have really learned a lot about this procedure. I just started cleaning out my closets will start setting up my recovery room this weekend. I can't wait until this is over although I'm not looking forward to postop either. The more I read the better I feel. I too am a believer of knowledge is power. Good luck
