Good morning all. Happy birthday, mylittle. I hope it's the beginning of a wonderful year. Phil, I'm glad your CT scan didn't show anything worrisome. I hope everyone's knots and jabs and aches go away soon. I've had a sore back for about a week now. I think it's because I got really busy with the vacuum cleaner last weekend...floors, drapes, lampshades...you name it. Then I had some stressful things happen at work, which sure didn't help. I'm still sore but not as bad, and I agree that heat is the best. And massage therapy -- wonderful, even if only temporary. And yes, antibiotics can give you the runs! I've had to take immodium once or twice to get things under control when on anti-b's.
Have a great day everyone. It's an absolutely beautiful fall day here in Ottawa and I'm going for a walk in the woods.

Red Mud

Gemini try "refresh" for your red eyes, it comes in little plastic tubes you can put in your purse. I have been using it alot more lately. It works really good.

Rain came hard & fast on the red desert yesterday, went to visit my parents. (& 2 of my sisters) Waterfalls coming down off the red cliffs, it is so beautiful. (and scary, no where for all the water to go, even 2 inches causes flooding) Prezous did so cal send all that rain?

Visited my DS's & they ask me if I was back to "normal" now. I said "no" I hope they don't have to go through this. They both came to my resue the 1st week after surgery. One was in the hospital when I woke up and the other came with me to my 1st post op, brought dinner & new jamie"s. Sisters are the best friends in the world!! That is why this site is so wonderful to me!!! My sisters don't live here and you just don't get all this stuff until you have gone through it...

My dd has been on antibiotics for 7 days now & they told her no dairy while she is on it. She usually has stomach problems I think she has ibs (wears a size 0) but she hasnt complained about having the runs this time? Maybe that would help??

Restful Sunday

Wow today is the day to catch up on laundry and put the legs up a bit. Tummy still acting up, thanks for the info I hope all goes well at my doctor appt tomorrow. She said I should have a CT Scan too so I will see how it goes. I got on the scale today down 10 lbs. Crazy...

bsister... I don't do much dariy. Maybe some cheese. I only drink soy milk. I wonder if the yogurt that I am eating to put good bacteria back is causing it????

Phil...I am glad your xray turned out fine. Yep I bet we are both having back issues due to the new body. I swear by the ice on the back and heating pad on the front though. We had our surgerys 3 days apart so maybe same stuff.

Happy Birthday mylittle tomorrow, I hope you have a great day!

Gemini3 have fun at the game. I am kicking back, doing laundry, picking up the house. Me and DH will go for a walk later. Day of rest. Tomorrow I will start my day early at the salon.

Hey....I received a new job offer I am thinking about resigning on Wednesday. I am just waiting for the offer letter. Perfect timing. I hope all goes well with my health so I can start feeling good and be off to a great start.

Good luck with the job offer. We should pray about it.
I am going to try the ice pack on the back tonite with the heating pad in the front. I'm taking it easy today also. My in-laws visited for a while and now I am going to work on lesson plans for the week. DH said he'll cook tonite

Thanks, byfaith for pulling up the thread. I couldn't find you guys. Probably because it has been a few days since I have been on. It is great how we all still are finding the time. Relief is the only one that has almost resigned.

Gemini,
My GP told me that I had allergies and my optometrist told me that I had dry eye from needing a very mild prescription for computer glasses. I have never had allergies to my knowledge either and it is annoying as he** to have this occassional red eye. It is getting better since I started using the thera tears and systane dry eye. DO NOT USE REGULAR VISINE. IT ONLY MAKES IT MORE INFLAMED AND DRIES THE EYE! I am ordering my glasses the next couple of days. I do feel the burning now when I am on the computer, so I will break down and spend the money.

Phil,
My hemmy's are better (if that is what it was) THANKS!

E,
I finally tried it the other day and no success. If it isn't 1 thing, it's another. He hates the condoms and so do I. We have searched everywhere and Trojan ONLY has the black box for magnum size. What's up with that?

Happy Birthday, Mylittle.

Glad your feeling better Jennice. It's tough to get on now and to find the thread.

Phil your lucky my DH could hardly fry an egg It's nice when someone else in the house can cook. I am with you on the praying. At this point in my life I need a change for all the better. We have had a tough year health wise.

Thanks Jennice! I plan on it if the offer comes back, I am really excited about it. It is still managing a salon spa but the salon is 1/4 of the size. I would get days off when needed, NO NIGHTS, everyother weekend. It's SO close to home too!! I would get to all my sons games!! I would work directly with the owner and she said NO to micro manage. YEA!

Good luck on the job offer, byfaith! It does sound a lot better and less stressful.

Jennice: sorry you tried and it didn't work out. I am not even thinking about trying again but i bet next friday (my only day off/alone all week for part of the day) there will be another attempt. Why do you use condoms at this point? I am curious to know. I must be dense about it all, condom-wise tho I am sure it's a good way to protect against certain stuff but I haven't thought about that so I need some more education in that dept. for SURE. I just know I need to find some lubricating stuff if/when i try again and then need to find out the source of pain and bleeding.

Gotta run................it's good to know a lot of people are doing okay.

p.s. byfaith it must be nice to lose ten pounds but not the way you are doing it, eh? People are going to think you are wasting away. I sure hope your meds finish soon/stomach gets back to normal! Isn't it muggy out? Ugh. The morning was SO beautiful in our area and then the dewpoint shot way up. I'm ready for the Minnesotas I remember in my youth. Maybe senility has already set in LOL.............
