2007 - Hysterectomy Oct 01, 2007 - Oct 08, 2007
Hi Ladies,
Well back to snow and cold over here. We had a beautiful orange sunset though. I made bbq pork ribs, corn, and carrots for dinner. Even GD liked the ribs. I am doing some more laundry and planning on spending the evening with DH relaxing with tv. I did get into the bank to sign the order for my new card. They said it may take 2 weeks to arrive. It is a hassle, but at least my accounts are intact!
I thought since you ladies have been so supportive with my intimacy issues with DH that I should share with you that everything is much improved with us and things are back to being great at "game time." It probably has not hurt that we have actually had some nice alone time lately.
Sas I hope you had your questions answered by your GP and your mind is at ease. Cindy I hope little ds is resting and breathing easier. Try to rest yourself when you can as those bugs get you when your down.
Murph I feel for you with the exhaustion. Hang in there the weekend is just around the corner!!
Hello to all. My thoughts are with you and I am wishing you all a wonderful evening.

Hi everyone,
We've made it through the day so far. Little ds is feeling better and his cough is improving. DD is still running a temp, but no more vomiting. Big ds has been staying off of his leg all day, it seems to have done alot of good. About 2:00 everyone was laying around watching t.v. I needed to go run to school to pick up the kid's school work at 3:00. I thought I would curl up on the edge of the couch where little ds was laying and watch a little t.v. before I left. Apparantly I fell asleep and didn't wake up until 5:00. I didn't get to go for their work, but everyone was still in their same spots when I woke up. That's the first time I've taken a nap in ages. I hope I can get to sleep tonight.
Murph 4 more days! It's getting closer I hope it goes by quick for you. I'm sure you're getting a bit burned out by now. How many days will you be off?
I hope you all have a nice evening.

Cindy, I know that nap was unplanned but I think it was much needed. DD probably did not feel like doing school work tonight anyway, and I am sure they both will catch up quickly. I hope you all rest well tonight and feel better tomorrow.

Good morning!
dd is home sick again today. Little ds is getting better. Big ds went back to school today. DH is leaving for a business trip this morning and won't be back until Friday. My cupboards are pretty bare since I haven't been able to get out to the store. Much to my suprise, I found some boneless beef ribs in my freezer, so I'm going to put those in the crockpot for supper. DH stayed with the little ones this morning, so after I dropped ds at school I stopped at the store and got some new potatoes and corn and texas toast. I got a few staples as well.
Jan you're right, I needed that nap and I didn't have any trouble falling asleep last night.
I hope you all have a good day.

Hi Ladies
I had a long post and was getting ready to click it in and LOST it so this is a short one.
Cindy I'm glad that your ds in doing better and hope your dd will get better quickly and ds is back in school.
Karen that would a great opportunity if you dd gets to go to Japan.
Jan glad that things are getting back to normal (game time)
bbq ribs sound sooo good. I have some sauce I made in the freezer so am going to buy ribs today!! I always get so hungry for everything that someone mentions that they are cooking for that day.
Sas thats good that they found the blood clot and can do something about it with the filter inserted. I hope that your stones won't give you much pain if they pass. I will keep you in my prayers...
Grateful I love Calamari... Nice that your family will be going with you to Orlando.
I had a busy weekend, went to the Casino that is only about 15 min. from here. I only take very little money with me but I played a long time and ended up winning. I was able to buy my dinner there also with my winnings and to go back the next day. My friend and I were leaving when she put her last $20 in a machine and in about 10- min. took out $72.00. we left immediately.. Had a good time. Our weather yesterday got to 57 deg... yaaa maybe Spring is on the way!!
Have a great day everyone.

Hi ladies,
Well our weekend was nice. Dd and I went for manicures and pedicures after I got home from work on Friday. It was nice and relaxing. On Saturday it was cold, gloomy and drizzling most of the day. I just went out to the market and back. Spent the rest of the day doing laundry and cleaning. By 6 I was on the couch relaxing and watching TV. Sunday went to church, children's choir sang and then we were off to dd's dance class. After that met my sisters and my dad joined us too for dinner. So it was nice cathcing up with everyone.
Last night went to parent meeting at high school where dd will be going in the fall. It was very informative and I'm pleased with the administration. Reality set in that dd is going to start high school...wow time sure flies. She will be going to summer school, and she is fine with going. She feels like she will get a head start and get acquainted with the campus.
Hyper - hope you enjoyed all your activites over the weekend. The bb game of parents vs kids sounds like fun. I hope your little ds is improving and feeling better. Hope your other kids are getting better each day. You're so right...when it rains, it pours. Hang in there.
Joan - yes, even during the work day I have to get up and walk around to stretch.
Lisa - had my mammogram and should have the results in about a week or so. sounds like you had a fun day dirt bike riding. Wow that was something finding a opossum's tail.
Sas - wow you are right that is scary getting a call from the doctor to report to the hospital and that they had a bed waiting for you. Hope the meds & filter will help you out. Be careful...sending you my prayers.
Mrswillie - We wanted to see 27 Dresses too but just haven't had the chance. That is good news that no one has charged anything on your ATM card. It is probably somewhere in your house and will come up when you aren't looking for it and by that time you may have your new card.
Grateful - funny story about your roast. It is important cathcing up with our girlfriends. Hope you enjoyed your ice cream. Nice to hear that you enjoyed Savannah. Your Orlando training should be fun
Well I'm getting hungry - going to get my lunch. Have a great day.

Hi Ladies,
Not much new around here. it is still cold but the sun is really bringing on a feeling of spring even though it does not feel warm yet. I am feeling tired today. We had ravioli for dinner. GD is really tired too. She is going to be going to bed early. Maybe I will too!!
Cindy I hope the kids are better. Your dinner sounds good. I hope your week passes fast until DH returns.
Joan that is wonderful about your good luck at the casino! I hope you are right about spring. I think we are all ready.
Scrapper what will DD be taking this summer? My nephew started HS this year. All incoming Freshman at his school were required to take a computer keyboarding class in the summer. It really helped them to know the school and HS system before it was crowded and they had full schedules. I hope the same happens for your DD. Your weekend sounded like a really nice relaxing one. I hope you are right. It would make me feel better to find that card, even though it can't be used anymore it still bothers me. I must say I will feel better when the new one arrives.
Well off to get GD to bed. Have a great evening!

Hi ladies!
My dinner turned out good. It is the first good meal I've been able to cook in days. DD and little ds had chicken noodle soup and crackers. Me and big ds did a good job on the dinner, their was hardly any leftovers. I did make a smaller portion since I knew it was just going to be us two eating it. DD was still running a slight temp and feeling bad when she went to bed so I don't think she'll be ready to go back to school tommorrow. Little ds is feeling better, but his cough is still horrible and he gets tired really easy. I will be glad when everyone is well.
Joan how nice to have fun and good luck at the casino. Sounds like a great time. I'm so jealous of the weather you had yesterday. I think I'm getting used to ours, it doesn't phase me much anymore. And I just know spring weather will be here soon.
Scrapper I think that is great that you and dd went for manicures and pedicures. You and her seem close, and you do alot of nice things together. Also, sounds like you had a nice get together with your family. What a nice weekend. It's good that your dd has a positive attitude about summer school. I'm sure she's right, it will give her a head start.
Jan ravioli sounds good. I hope you are able to get to bed early and get a good night's sleep.
I hope you are all enjoying your evening. Take care.

Today Andrew went for his stress test. The Dr. doesn't have the report finished yet, but he did say that it appears there is an area of his heart that has hardened. He's not sure if it's a tumor or what. We go and see the other Dr. on Friday and I hope he can give us some answers. The Dr. today is recommending an echocardiogram and he said that would give a more definitive answer.
Cindy I'm glad your little ds is feeling better.
Joan it sounds like you had a fun trip to the casino. We have one about an hour from here and have gone a few times. Never win anything, though.
I hope everyone has a great evening
