kevieb,
My hyst was also one of a number I had, in a short period of time. Since I was 20(we won't go through what I had BEFORE I was 20!! Too many too list-broken bones, etc.), I had...1992-C-section, 1998-tubaligation, 2000-lithotripsy, 2002-2 lithotripsy surgeries, appendectomy, 3 lap surgeries, adhesion removal, (what was SUPPOSED to be)TVH-Dr. messed up big time, and had to have another surgery abdominally 6 hrs. after the TVH to keep me alive, then prolapsed a few weeks after that, which led to 2 more surgeries. I have since had 4 more lithotripsy surgeries and a BSO, since then. I am so weary of being opened up or going under that I have refused to have surgery on my slipped disc that has been slipped for 2 1/2 yrs. I've also had so much chemo and was in pre-term with my daughter for 3 1/2 months, taking Mag Sulfate and lots of demerol and phenergan, that my veins are non existant. I always have to have a PICC line instead of an IV, and they have to draw labs out of my foot if I don't have a PICC line in. I'd love to have a tummy tuck, but there is NO way I'm going under the knife again....I agree w/Neeney's post...."just had me a scalpel" BEST WISHES for your trip to the Castle tomorrow, kevieb....we'll be looking forward to your posts when you come back. God bless.
