Are there a lot of Needles Involved ??

I only had the needles you mentioned. When I was at my pre op the nurse mentioned how hard it was to draw my blood and I told her that I was dreading the IV. She recommended that I drink as much water as possible the night before (up until my cut off time for liquids) because it would help with the IV. My deadline was midnight the night before my noon surgery so I drank water until 11:59. It was the first time that the IV didnt really bother me.
