1st of all Welcome all new comers. This is the place to be.

I just caught up on all I missed while at the dr. Boy it does take awhile to catch up. I swallowed my pride and ask for more pain meds.

Had the dreaded vaginal ultrasound. My abcess is slowly getting smaller with the meds. 3000 mg of antibodies should cure just about anything. I have to go back and see him on friday. I think I am his favorite patient.

happy sleeping jayhawk and I'm glad every thing is going ok.

OK I have passed stitches when I pee. and I was told that is normal. And I've came to the conclusion that this is the only place in the world that it is normal to talk about pee and bms. LOL

I think I will go the the dr. about 2 times a week. Its the only place that we have to get felt up right now and my dr. is a hunk....LOL

Ok I know it is usually the man but I want to have sex so bad I can't stand it right now. Of course the 2 wks before my surgery I was on my period.

Well now I'm off to cross stitch.

Hope everyone has a greeeeeeeeeeeeat day.

*I am to blessed to be stressed and to anointed to be disappoint.*

I've said it before and I'll say it again -- I don't know how anyone could go to a gyn that was a hunk! I just couldn't do it! Now, a dentist? That's a whole other ballgame (and orafice!) - my dentist in Ohio was HOT. Haven't quite found that here. My gyn on the other hand, is a sweet old man who's seen it all, delivered a million babies and removed as many uteruses, who's hands are still steady as a rock. He's planning to retire soon, and his partner, a 50-something woman, will take his place. Might be a good time to get with a doc who can physically relate to all the aches and pains of womanhood. I've heard so many women say they prefer a female doc for that very reason. They not only get the physical aspect of a woman's aches and pains, but the emotional, too. For now, my sweet old man is great and I'm thankful for what he did for me when other docs wouldn't.

Lower back pain? Both before and after surgery! Mine's a symptom of "couch-potato-itis."

The freedom to share "pee and poo" stories is the best! DH is terribly amused by it, too. Thanks for being here.

BTW, I refilled my pain meds Rx. I didn't intend to, but this recent setback convinced me I wasn't ready to go it alone.

I started out with a female who was WAY TOO BUSY delivering babies, I then switched to an older, well-known and well-experienced male OBGYN (I actually searched the clinic website for the top three oldest doctors - I didn't want to fool around with anyone new). He did my first procedures and then retired. I was devastated. I liked the younger woman he handed me off to, but then while she was on vacation I found young woman that I liked even better. They both partnered for my surgery and that really reassured me. I'm so thankful for my clinic. I'd take any of the doctors.

Personally, I think that Clyde should've gone, not Leeza, but that's me. I am rooting for Joey.

One thing I have learned...Do NOT take meds and watch "Deadliest Catch" on Discovery. I had really bizzare dreams about me being a crab fisherman and some gigantic scary crab...lol.

At what point can we exercise and do sports? I suppose I should search the site. My friend wants me to play hockey with her and I'd like to. I'm just wondering when we will get cleared for sports.

OF COURSE, Clyde should have gone! But he's got the same cult following Sanjaya does on AI. Leeza was just next on the list. I even think John will go before Clyde. These shows aren't really always about talent - rather popularity.

sputumqueen, you are too funny. Thankfully, my bad/crazy dreams have subsided for now. They were unreal at one time -- slasher movie material -- only with close friends and loved ones in every scene! Now, they are a totally different kind of dream -- sweet and sentimental. But at least I'm sleeping!

TK...
I'd say it's going to be a long, long time before any of us are playing hockey -- of all sports! Watching it is violent enough!!! (just kidding -- check with your doc, of course.)

My advisor, in college, suspected that I had endo, WAY back when I was in my early 20's. But no insurance and I didn't see anyone. But a funny story...She suggested that I see her gyno. She said that she thought he'd be willing to see me for nothing (as consult). And I knew I could pay beyond that. Anyway, she starting describing him, and I asked his name. I nearly fell off my chair----this young gyno. had lived with my family when I was only 6 YO, one summer. Long story. But I had a crush on him when just 6YO. So, I told my advisor that there was no way I could feel comfortable with him looking at my private parts...under the circumstances.......... Too bad I didn't listen and go.
