Anyone from arkansas??

im Mindy ill be having as LAVH june 6th. Tomorrow is my pre op. Super nervous. Mainly thinking about pain.

Well hello hystersister from the same state!!!! Hope your feeling well!:-) I'm doing okay pain much more tolerable today. I also had my first BM woohoo. Still having gas problems tho. Thank s for responding

Not a problem! Glad things are going okay. The gas takes awhile. Lol. Mainly from all the anesthesia! My biggest problem was nausea. Still have it occasionally. Just remember to rest! Don't over do it!

My hubby took off a whole week to keep kids so I could rest. And I've been in bed since I came home. Miss snuggling with my 2 year old he's just so rough and likes to jump on me so we haven't got our snuggle time:"( I know it's coming tho.

I made them give me all kinda nausea meds and also this patch behind my ear never heard of it but when I have my laparoscopy 7 weeks ago I was so so so sick and I made sure I'll let them know because I was not going to go through that again and I hope that yours subsides soon.

Anyone out there from Arkansas? I just had surgery October 21st 2019. I was wondering if anyone else just had A hysterectomy?

That is a great place to share friendship and recovery updates with those who had surgery the same week as you. If you have any recovery questions or concerns, then please start a new thread in the Post-Op Hysterectomy Support forum so that you can get input from members in all parts of the world. You'll find helpful information in the Post-Op Page and also in Checkpoints.

Here in the Neighborhood forums we take a welcome break from anything having to do with surgery, recovery, hormones, etc. and instead get to know about others in our area by chatting about topics of local interest.
