My pre-op is today. Feeling a little nervous but thinking positive thoughts and wanted to send positive thoughts out to all of you today.

Pre-op is usually not too bad. Mine started at the dr's office with questions & answers. I watched a short video about my surgery. Then I went to the hospital ( next door to the dr ). I had chest x-rays, blood work, an EKG, a uranalysis, and lots more questions. A lot of waiting made it a long day but not really bad.

I'm sending good wishes that your's will all go quickly and smoothly.

My pre-op was similar to Jean's, all done in the doc's office and then over to the hospital that same day for futher testing and instructions. I hope that yours went very well, and that you had all of your questions answered...of course we will all be here for you throughout your journey, so please let us know how everything went

Had my pre-op yesterday and it was all good. she told me she only plans to keep me over night, unless there is a complication. I was happy to hear that. I'll feel better if I am home in my own bed.
