Brand New HysterSister Here!!

Hi everyone!! Just wanted to introudce myself...I just recently found out that I have to have a hysterectomy due to endometreotis and I have to be completely honest I am really scared! I wont turn 30 until august so I know I'm kinda young for this. If there is anyone out there that has any advice for me, please reply!! Thanks a bunch

Welcome sister. You are in a good place. Read the posts from others. Everyone is scared before surgery, its normal. This is a great website with lots of information. When is your surgery? I had mine 8 weeks ago and am feeling a lot better. I go back to work tomorrow for the first time. I'm glad I had my surgery. Good luck to you and keep us posted.

I wanted to say hi and to encourage you to read some more about hysterectomy for endometriosis. In my limited knowledge, i believe that a hysterectomy is not a cure for endo. I am sure there are sisters that have had it done and can tell you if it did help.

So anyway, if you do decide to continue, there are many many ideas on here that will help to get you through it all. Have fun reading, keep coming back and asking more questions!
