scared to death

I am scheduled to have my D&C on Fri 22nd in prep for my lupron. I am so anxious about it I am already moody and not sleeping. My man is being very supportive but how much can one man take? I'm scared

A DNC is pretty routine, and doesnt take that long. I think it is one of the easier things to go thru....... but thats just my opinion I had one several years ago, and other than being sore for a few days, and some craping, it wasnt that bad. Good luck, sure you will do fine!!!

I'm sorry you're feeling so frightened right now. It's hard when you're in the beginning stages of trying to find answers to your problems and face surgery for the first time. It's very normal to feel nervous.
I have had 5 DNC's and didn't have any problems with any of them. Like rhia said there is usually some cramping and a little discharge. In a few days you should be feeling pretty good and being able to move on. I hope this treatment is affective and you will be feeling better soon.

I just had one on Wednesday, and outside of feeling a little nauseated after the anesthesia (I didn't get sick this time!) and some cramping for a day or so after, I'm fine.

It doesn't hurt as much as just the feeling that you're tired afterwards. You'll do just fine; all the best to you!
