TAH: Tomorrow is the big day!! (2/11) A few bowel prep questions, please.

Can I make ginger tea (ginger root boiled in water) for before and during my bowel prep today? I read one source that said no more ginger, but if ginger ale is ok, ginger root must be too, right?

What is your favourite bowel prep tip to share? I have read some of the great advice on here, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

Thank you... I'll be on the other side of this after tomorrow. I can't believe it is already here, but I'm hopeful that it will be the end to this constant pain.

Make sure you have baby wipes! They'll be your best friend during this. As far as the tea, I would call your doctor just in case! Good luck!

I don't have wipes, but I have witch hazel. Can I make my own witch hazel/water solution and use cloths?

I did call, they said it is ok to have ginger tea.

I'm right there with you getting ready for tomorrow. Along with the wipes, I'm using diaper cream with each trip, just to avoid any skin irritation.

I'm drinking as much as I can since I will be cut off from fluids this evening. I want to be as hydrated as possible.

I have never used that but anything that's soothing to wipe with would most likely work. I Usually just get a box of huggies, but cloth would work too!
