8 weeks post hysterectomy (LAVH) and started bleeding again

I am about 8 weeks post robotic addicted LAVH. Recovery had its ups and downs as expected and I am finally feeling back to myself. I am still avoiding lifting heavy items like no shopping and not taking out garbage etc. No heavy house cleaning.
But I started spotting again today. It is bright red and more than I have had since surgery. Is this still normal?

Re: 8 weeks post LAVH and started bleeding again

it's probably normal but since you're 8 weeks out, you should let your dr. know. he might want to see you and check your vaginal cuff.

It could be a stubborn stitch or some granulation which covered an unhealed area. Rest more over this weekend and see if that helps. If it gets to the point where you're filling a pad in an hour, go to the ER.
