TAH 6 weeks post abdominal hysterectomy: Strange pain/ache in my right side

Is it normal, but just on ny right side, under my incision, just where the drain tube was, I have a weird ache...feels like it is ballooning up, but cant see any swelling...is this normal? Am 42 days after my op now...all these aches/numbness are driving me mad!!!

Yes a drain tube.. am just hoping all these pains/aches are normal as doc didnt explain what I was to expect after! :-(

I had numbness around the incision, still have a bit,and and the odd sort of pulling,burning pain,but not like how you describe. Not sure about the ballooning up sort of feeling,I would go and see your doc just to put your mind at rest.good luck.

Have got a weeks holiday at the end of the week, so will go then if its not any better..
