Survived my hysteroscopy today, preop tomorrow

Survived my hysteroscopy today, and got GREAT news that my pathology report was good on my culposcopy. But, the doctor said he still wants to remove my cervix.

I got mildly scared (!) when I came home and my arms went numb and I had excruciating pain in my collar bone and neck -- but it turns out that it was just the GAS and while it still hurts, at least I have comfort knowing that it is nothing more serious.

I am so thankful to the sweet hystersisters that told me what I should wear because that was the greatest advice. I had on a high waisted dress, so there was plenty of room for my belly. I look pregnant, and my doctor says it is about the size of a 3 mo pregnancy (seems bigger to me !) before the gas.

Off to my pre-admission and Pre-Op appointments at 8:30 in the a.m. I'll know by the afternoon if I will be admitted on Fri or on Wed. I'm not done reading my hyster-sister's guide yet ...
