LSH: Nervous about going straight into Menopause

I had full hyst with ovaries gone 26.05.09 and I had not started meno then. Hot flushes came first, about week and half after op. I felt like crying constantly from then but tried not too. Went to DR. and was given hormonin which in England is the lowest form of hrt to take the edge off symptons and now I am having maybe 3 flushes a day and are not that bad. I feel quite fragile all the time though and a lot fed up today but I think yes, it's not needed when recovering from op anyway byt I hve to go through it sometime and I am resigned to it. I am trying to be positive about it, it is not the end of the world although I am still realising what I have had done! Be brave, I find it so so!

This is a huge concern of mine. I have a hystery of endo,large fibroids and ovarian cyst. My doctor wants to hold off on hormone replacement for a while(6 months) due to endo tissue on my intestines. I think the idea is to starve them of Estrogen so they die off completely. I am dreading this. But I have done Lupron 3 times and went through the faux menopause each time and it was mostly tolerable...so I am hoping for a similar response. Anyone else been through this?
