dVH/RALH: Bowel prep gone slightly bad

Hmm, how do I put this? Took my 4 Duclolax pills this morning at 10; started my Miralax/Gatorade cocktail around 12:30; drank until done (a glass every 15 minutes) - worked like magic about 2 hours later - and lasted for about 4-6 hours or so on and off - no biggee. Then.....

wait for it....

Just when I thought I was done, I was standing at the kitchen sink and...well, farted - just a little one or so I thought. Didn't think much of it until a few seconds later when I felt something down my leg - then the "uh oh" moment happened.

So...just when you think it might be done, never, ever trust a fart.

Oh no! That is why you are home. Maybe time for ?

One of my first thoughts when we decided to take out my uterus was 'what about sex?' (lol..). The second one, because I've had 4 other abdominal surgeries in the past was "Oh man... do I have to do the bowel prep?!"

You sound like you have a wonderful sense of humor, it will go a long way toward getting you through this...hang in there..and never trust a fart!
