Hi Theresa, no it is not, it is either a cyst pressing on the nerves or a group of nerves bunched up in a ball (don't know how they got tangled) but I would probably need surgery for it. Sorry, can't remember how to pronounce or spell the technical name for it. The good news is my dr spoke to the hospital chief of radiology and said his guy messed up and they will have to do it and cover the expense bec my insurance said they are not going to open a new file for it since my dr had said to do it with the contrast in the first place. So not thrilled with the idea of surgery but if it fixes the problem I will be very happy. Are you ready for the holidays?

For those who celebrate Happy Channukah and then I am on to Christmas. If anyone is stopping by hello, happy holidays and stop by and post sometimes.

It is very cold here and the kids had a two hour delay today and may have another one tomorrow.

Hugs to everyone,

Unfortunately for you, you need more surgery but maybe this will help your pain. Thank heavens the tab is on them. You didn't have your ovaries removed did you? I have heard that endo etc can grow back if they aren't removed. I had my shot yesterday wasn't too bad this morning I woke up and I could stand on my feet without pain. They say it takes about 72 hours for the steroid to reach its peak. I wonder if there has ever been any studies on done on back problems and these shots. What I mean is there were all white women all in their 70's getting these shots yesterday. I was the youngest one there. Seemed like an epidemic.

Well my daughter helped me Sunday clean and decorate so that looks great! No money to shop so I am thinking of things I can make for the kids here. They know our finacial situation this year. They'll love anything that I make for them. Grankids you have to buy something good for so I will worry about them.

You have been getting hit with some wintry weather up there lately. I bet its beautiful but gets old after a while. Cold here, I have the woodstove going non stop lately. Propane is up 50 cents a gallon ouch.

Well better stop for now. You take care and talk to you soon.

Hi everyone. Just in case anyone stops by anymore I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. They have finally figured out what is wrong with my leg pain. I have a nerve sheath tumor which I will have to have surgery to have it removed but then most of the pain will go away. So I am hoping for a mostly pain free 2008.

Again everyone have a wonderful, safe and happy holiday season.

Hugs to everyone.

Hi Theresa, I guess we are the only two left on the site.No the tumor seems to be actually in my groin area and I just told Frank today that I think that is why it took me so long to heal after the hyster bec they had to cut the nerves and some of them were connected to this nerve sheath but I am wondering why my gyn did not see it. Even my neurologist cannot believe that all the MRI's I have had of my lower back not one of them showed anything of this. And he told me there are no pain meds that would take all this pain away except to have the surgery.I was told but don't know yet that they may be able to do a laporoscopy which would make it that much easier but won't know anything for sure until I see him. Thanks for thinking of me and sending good thoughts. I am still adjusting to the fact that I am going for surgery. It is unbelievable to me even though I had a feeling I would need surgery to correct this.

I will keep you posted on how things are going and when I will be having my surgery. I am glad the first shot helped you but yes I do know they are very expensive. But I am hoping that if you felt some relief from the first shot you will only need the three and it will work for you. Talk to you soon and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Won't you have your whole family around you this year? That should be fun.

Wow you have been through a lot this year. Hopefully the surgery will be quick and a sucess. It gets very frustrating when you go into have a hysterectomy, have these shots in your back and only to still have pain that nothing helps. I'll be thinking of you and praying all goes well.

The kids will all be here and it should be fun and crazy. The grandbaby will be here so it will be exciing to see her unwrap her presents. Well you try to have a good Holiday. God Bless

Hi Theresa, Actually I am looking forward to hopefully a more pain free 2008 and having a nice quiet stay at home Christmas - anyone who wants to stop by can this year but we are not traveling. I am planning on just staying home and having some fun and not think about surgery. I know you will be enjoying yours especially with the grandbaby there. I know mine will be very surprised bec they wanted something they are so sure we did not get them but did -electronics what else could it be. We are even going to wrap it in a big box so they have no idea what it is. I hope you have continued good health and the shots keep working. It is worth it if it makes you pain free. Thank you again for all your good thoughts.

Hey how did your area work out with the storm yesterday? We really got lots of rain. That is ok no snow. I love buying electronics for people and getting them too. Christmas is so much fun with the little ones. My kids come for a big breakfast and open gifts then go home (depending on how far they live) Then come back for dinner. Its a long day of fun. Well better get off of here for now talk to you soon.
