Something to help get things moving
Hi sisters!
You've read about how some of us sisters get kinda blocked up after surgery? Not much action down there? I just wanted to pass something on to you all that I discovered while in the hospital. The nurses gave me this spoonful of sweet, black paste every day. It turns out it is a paste made from prunes, raisins, and prune juice. The thing that's great about it is that you can spread in on toast, stir it into your hot cereal, or any number of other ways to eat, and it has the fiber of the whole fruit. Now I'm not trying to promote the product necessarily. I just thought it was cool and that it might help some of you out when you need it.
Take care of yourselves.
Laurie

Thanks for sharing your nurses' natural remedy for the constipation problems which are common after surgery! Constipation is a concern for LIW and I'm sure some will appreciate your input!!!
Continue being a good princess and good luck in your recovery!!!

Ronda

Correctol worked for me :)
Good morning ladies...
I was told by a friend to take correctol as soon as I arrived home.. and I did.. and I continued one everyday for about a week. I ate alot of cream of wheat and oatmeal.. which seemed to keep me moving Even if you aren't into water drinking.. drink lots of water after surgery.. it really does help. I also took GasX.. and that seemed to help with the gas pains. Well.. I wish you ladies the best. REMEMBER YOU ARE IN THE BEST PHYSICIANS HANDS ALWAYS.. SO KEEP LOOKING UP!!!
You'll be in my thoughts and prayers...
God bless you today.. tomorrow and always...
Karin
