Today 10/4 is the surgery day

My check in time is 10:15 am this morning of October 4th.
I'm nervous and excited.
According to the doctor it should be an easy smooth surgery. That makes me confident. Also it's supposed to be
an outpatient surgery.
Its Laproscopic total hysterectomy.

I hope all went well with your surgery and that you are resting comfortably. Wishing you a speedy recovery

Today is October 7th and everything went smooth on Friday. So far I'm feeling pretty good and only needing Ibuprofen 800mg. They found no cancer but they did find several more Fibroids than we saw in the Ultrasound.
So I kept both Ovaries cause it's more of a benefit than a risk for me according to my doctor. So I'm happy about that.
I'm just trying to walk back and forth between my room and the kitchen to keep a little circulation going and hoping it will help me go to the bathroom better. I've been drinking tons of water and tea's to stay hydrated. It just feels like I'm constantly having to get water bottle after water bottle.
I'm trying to rest when I can and do little things here and there. I'm just so happy it went really well and I'm doing pretty good so far. I cant believe I did it!
I wonder what Peri Menopause symptoms I will go through until I actually get to Menopause?
Since I'm 47 my doctor says it might hit me gradually once I get to age 51.
