What are the most important questions to ask at my pre-op appointment?

Help! I am so nervous I can't think right now.
What are the most important questions I should be asking my doctor at my pre-op appointment. Thanks so much for any help.

Hi, click here for a list of pre op questions. I printed it , added a few more of my own and took it with me to my pre op. My dr was very good and answered all of them.

I, also, printed the questions and took them with me yesterday. I feel very prepared for my surgery. I did the same as lovecarats and asked him if there was anything else he thought I should know. My doctor said no but I think that is a great additional question! Good luck and 's to you!

Same here...the link with the questions was a blessing.

Since I was having bladder and bowel repairs at the same time as my TAH/BSO, I asked questions about how that would affect my recovery.

I also asked my doctor if I forgot to ask anything that other patients usually ask.

OH - and remember to bring your list and a pen or pencil to write down your doctor's responses.
