Tilted uterus and bladder pressure- help please?

Hello all,
I'm new here and have some questions that hopefully you can help me with.

For about a month now, I've had this constant pressure in my pelvic area. Sometimes it feels as if my uterus is contracting and sometimes it feels like pressure on my bladder. I have been back and forth to gyno and urologist. No one seems to know what is going on. I have bladder ultrasound scheduled for 6/21.

I feel like I have to go pee all the time. Even after I go, I still have the pressure and feeling.

Last week, I did go to another gyno for a second opinion and during the exam she found that my uterus was enlarged (about the size of 3 month pregnant person) and that's it tilted towards bladder She said this COULD BE the source of the bladder pressure? And recommended a hysterectomy.

Could this really be causing all the pressure? I feel like I am having to go so many times during the night.

Anyone else have similar issues? So worried and concerned that it isn't only the uterus.

My Mom had a similar issue and it turned out to be a large adhesion that had attached the fundus of the uterus to her bladder. You can book surgery to be an exploratory lap with possibility of hysterectomy so that if they can find a cause without doing the hysterectomy, they can correct it. Adhesions probably will not show up on imaging.

Thank you so much for your input. So, an adhesion? That's interesting because I was starting to suspect something like that.

All my symptoms coincidentally started after a transvaginal ultrasound where the doctor had difficulty getting to my uterus because my cervix would not open. So, he had to do quite a bit of manipulation. I'm wondering if it was possible some damage occurred then?

This is baffling!

I agree with CORPSMAN. And I would go for imaging too. MRI and/or CTSCAN. I'd elevate to a specialist who does a lot of procedures because they see it all. The average GYN doesn't always see it all. My mom had a similar thing too. Her GYN wasn't helpful. A CT scan was though. Good luck!

I had a tilted uterus and had pressure on my bladder. I had some fibroids so I thought it was that putting pressure on my bladder. I would get pressure on my rectum too. My uterus had grown too to a 3 month size but was due to adenomyosis. I now am in the recovery stages from a hysterectomy and feel much better than having my bloated and enlarged uterus.
