Worrying about partial hysterectomy and sacrospinal surgery

I am 52 years old and had a posterior repair in April which failed and actually made matters worse, I now have a stage 2 posterior, anterior and uterine prolapse.
I am now expecting a partial hyst (leaving the cervix) and sacrocervicopexy where they attach the cervix to the sacral ligaments.
We ruled out more vaginal surgery so as to avoid problems with scarring and sex afterwards so it will be an abdominal procedure.
However I'm also worried that attaching everything to the sacrum will aggravate the arthritis I have in my spine from a lumbar discectomy a few years ago.
My consultant says it shouldn't be a problem but things have already gone wrong once and I'm getting very anxious.
What do you all think?
